The AEW roster has some of the most recognizable legends as well as many young stars with seemingly endless potential. Jim Cornette recently gave his take on Jungle Boy taking a shot at WWE Hall of Famer Billy Gunn and stating that he doesn't listen to his advice.
Jungle Boy, Anna Jay, and Ruby Soho recently sat down for a live Q&A with For The Love Of Wrestling III in England. When recently asked who he takes advice from, the star noted that Luchasaurus helps him piece his matches together, but shockingly claimed that he doesn't listen to Billy Gunn.
During the latest episode of The Jim Cornette Experience, the veteran assessed the AEW star's attitude toward Billy Gunn.
"And Billy Gunn has absolutely nothing to offer because he thinks it’s ridiculous that you should do your own backflip and land on your own head multiple times in a match, especially if it’s not the finish. This is where this f**king clown’s head’s at." [06:53 onward]
Social media has been increasingly critical of the Four Pillars storyline between Perry, MJF, Sammy Guevara, and Ricky Starks. Jungle Boy's promos against Darby Allin have notably been panned online due to the former AEW Tag Team Champion's delivery and lack of personality.

Jim Cornette believes that Tony Khan is well aware of the AEW star's attitude toward veterans
Billy Gunn hasn't held back in the past when levying criticism toward the young stars on the AEW roster. During an interview on Busted Open Radio in 2022, Daddy A** shared some crucial advice for young talent on prolonging their careers.
Continuing in the same episode, Cornette explained why he believes that Gunn likely informed Tony Khan about the situation.
"I have a feeling it’s not a surprise to Tony, ‘cause I know Billy Gunn better than I know [Jungle Boy] and I would imagine Billy Gunn’s the person who told Tony, ‘Yeah, I tell these guys s**t but they don’t listen to me.’ So what the f**k?" [11:04 onward]
Some have also pointed out that Jack Perry's attitude during the live Q&A proves CM Punk's statements about "working with children" during his infamous All Out media scrum rant. Could this be the case, or was the young star simply in a bad mood?
