Former AEW star Penta El Zero Miedo is expected to make his WWE debut imminently after the Sports Entertainment juggernaut seemingly teased his arrival on the premiere of Monday Night RAW on Netflix. While many believe that the move will be a huge blow to the Jacksonville-based promotion, Tony Khan can counter it by bringing back Penta's brother, Rey Fenix, on AEW TV.
Last year, reports started making the rounds that The Lucha Brothers were on their way out of All Elite Wrestling, with implications that the duo was WWE-bound. Although Penta El Zero Miedo's contract with the promotion expired in November, it was earlier revealed that AEW had retained Rey Fenix by adding injury time to his deal, seemingly preventing the 34-year-old from debuting in the Stamford-based company, alongside his sibling.
Since then, Fenix has made headlines for ostensibly voicing his grievances against Tony Khan on social media.
In the meantime, Penta has been the subject of weekly vignettes teasing his WWE debut. The 39-year-old is expected to compete in his first match for the company against Chad Gable on next week's RAW.

Wrestling fans are waiting with bated breath for Penta El Zero Miedo's WWE arrival. The masked luchador is undoubtedly one of the more prominent names to make the jump from AEW, and his signing is likely going to add to the Stamford-based promotion's recent surge in popularity and momentum. However, Tony Khan could respond to this by bringing back Rey Fenix to television.
The Man of A Thousand Lives has been missing from action since July 2024. Regardless of recent controversies, a wrestler of Fenix's caliber could still greatly raise his stock by showcasing his talent during the remainder of his time in All Elite Wrestling. He could be slotted back into the AEW International Title picture, or could even initiate a feud with former Death Triangle stablemate PAC and the 38-year-old's current allies, The Death Riders.
However, this is speculative at this point.
Rey Fenix posts a cryptic message amid his absence from AEW TV
As anticipation continues to build regarding Penta El Zero Miedo's impending WWE debut, viewers of All Elite Wrestling continue to ponder if Tony Khan will make use of Rey Fenix in the coming days. Amid his continued hiatus, the 34-year-old star took to his Instagram story to share an interesting message.
"I learned that we are never prepared for everything, but that everything is always preparing us. What happened had to happen, what went away had to go away, what comes has to happen," he wrote on his IG story.
It will be interesting to see if Tony Khan has any plans for Fenix moving forward.
