AEW CEO Tony Khan recently brought back a lot of talent to the Jacksonville-based promotion. The All Elite Honcho could bring another in as Keith Lee might make a huge comeback at Worlds End.
Keith Lee is one of the most promising talents in professional wrestling. However, he has faced some setbacks due to his health. Upon his arrival in AEW, many believed he would have won some gold in the promotion. He captured the AEW World Tag Titles with Swerve Strickland.
The former NXT Champion has been absent from television for months and many have wondered when he would return to action. Some recent reports also revealed that Lee is still not cleared to return to action. However, Tony Khan could bring him back to the company.
The AEW Worlds End PPV is stacked with top-quality matchups. Tony Khan could easily bring the former NXT Champion back at the PPV event which could freshen things up in the Jacksonville-based promotion.
Lee could lock horns with stars like Swerve Strickland or Christan Cage. He could even turn heel and join The Hurt Syndicate. It'll be interesting to see what the future holds for the star.
AEW star Keith Lee claims his time will come
Since December 2023, Keith Lee has been out of action. The former NXT Champion has reportedly been absent due to health issues and is still not cleared to return to the promotion.
In a recent tweet on X (formerly known as Twitter), Lee assured the fans to hang in there as his time will come seemingly speaking about his return to the squared circle.
"I certainly don't see them all, but I have seen many. I must take the time to say thank you. And I must take the time to tell you.... we are not done. Hang in there, just like I am. Whatever it is.... the time will come. Let's move forward. Oh. And don't forget to go vote," Lee posted.
The fans will have to wait and see if Keith Lee will return to All Elite Wrestling in 2025.
