The former AEW World Tag Team Champions could make an appearance on a major promotion out of fear of Jon Moxley and the BCC. The top stars could recruit their former friend in order to fight Moxley and his faction.
Jon Moxley, along with Marina Shafir, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Wheeler Yuta, have been wreaking havoc on the AEW roster for weeks. Out of the fear of The Deathrider and the BCC, the top stars in question, The Young Bucks ran away from the arena last week on Dynamite after losing their tag team titles to Private Party.
After fleeing from Dynamite last week, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson also updated their 'X' social media bio stating they will be away from the office indefinitely. Amid their absence from AEW TV, The Young Bucks could appear on New Japan Pro-Wrestling and confront their former friend, Kenny Omega.
The Bucks recently announced that they will be returning to NJPW at the Wrestle Dynasty event in Tokyo Dome on January 5, 2025. Furthermore, Omega is also expected to appear at the big event after his recovery. Matthew and Nicholas Jackson could try to recruit Omega back to The Elite to take care of Moxley and the BCC.
Although The Bucks brutally assaulted Kenny Omega the last time they met on Dynamite earlier this year, the AEW EVPs have to try to convince Kenny to join them for the bigger purpose of stopping Moxley.
Jon Moxley's match announced for AEW Full Gear
While Jon Moxley and the BCC are trying to take over Tony Khan's promotion, Moxley is also the AEW World Champion, earning the title by defeating Bryan Danielson at WrestleDream. Meanwhile, Moxley received his first challenge for the World Title from Orange Cassidy, and the match is set for Full Gear.
Moreover, the match announcement also mentioned that the future of AEW hinges on the result of the World Title match at Full Gear. It remains to be seen if Orange Cassidy manages to dethrone Moxley.
