A top WWE Superstar could join AEW and become the newest member of Chris Jericho's faction, The Learning Tree. The name in question is none other than Natalya.
The Queen of Hart's contract with the Stamford-based promotion is set to expire soon and the veteran has reportedly not been able to reach an agreement for a contract renewal yet. Natalya was also quick to remove any mention of WWE from her social media accounts which could mean that she's set to leave after spending almost 17 years with the company.
All Elite Wrestling is always eyeing talents from the global juggernaut and they can fire back at WWE's Stephanie Vaquer's move by snatching Natalya from the Stamford-based promotion and bringing her to the Tony Khan-led company.
Natalya is an experienced veteran like Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho is one of the longest-tenured veterans in professional wrestling. Y2J’s career has spanned over 30 years and he has always been successful at elevating himself whenever his characters or gimmicks seem stale. He recently introduced his Learning Tree persona in All Elite Wrestling and started a faction alongside Big Bill and Bryan Keith.
Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya arriving in All Elite Wrestling to join the Learning Tree faction and helping elevate Bryan Keith and Big Bill alongside Chris Jericho could be a great move for all the stars involved.
The Queen of Harts can elevate AEW women's division
AEW's women's division has top talents like Toni Storm, Mercedes Mone, Willow Nightingale, among several others. However, they also have some inexperienced stars who are unfortunately put on television and given big spots, before they are fully prepared for the spotlight.
The men's division has a lot of mentors in the form of Adam Copeland and Chris Jericho and the 42-year-old's influence on the women's division could be of great help to Tony Khan and the young starlets in the locker room themselves.
Natalya is set to be a free agent soon and has teased exploring other options. The former Divas Champion has a lot of great opponents lined up in AEW which could help bring some more relevancy to the division.
Natalya could compete in a major match at AEW All-In
Britt Baker recently made her surprising return to All Elite Wrestling and challenged Mercedes Mone to a match at All-In. The match itself can headline an AEW show however, bringing a recently departed, top WWE star into the mix could turn the match into one of the most talked-about occasions of the entire show.
Natalya is still hungry for competition and can easily settle in All Elite Wrestling by competing at the All-In PPV. The former SmackDown Women's Champion can get added to Mercedes Mone vs. Britt Baker affair and turn the match into a three-way bout.
The WWE veteran has competed against Mercedes Mone in the Stamford-based promotion but competing against Britt Baker would be a first-ever face-off for her.
There is currently no word on whether Natalya plans to stay with WWE or leave the company. It will be interesting to see if the veteran does indeed head to the rival promotion and decide to collaborate with Jericho.
