A former WWE star could appear at the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view this Saturday. The star being discussed is Samantha Irvin. Her fiance Ricochet has been All Elite since August 2024. Since she left, fans have been asking if the WWE announcer would join All Elite Wrestling.
Samantha left WWE in October 2024 and hasn't signed with any other major promotion since then. However, she has been the talk of the town as she tends to defend The One and Only on social media. Many on Twitter have criticized the latter since joining AEW, and the couple have been giving befitting replies to them.
Ricochet is having a good run in the company since he established himself as an overconfident heel. During his entrance into the Hammerstein Ballroom, fans chanted innovative phrases for him and threw toilet paper at him. They also cheered for his fiance when Samantha's chants broke out in the arena on Dynamite.
The 35-year-old star recently reacted to her Dynamite chants and claimed she is listening to all of them. This could be a subtle tease ahead of the potential arrival at the Worlds End pay-per-view. Now that fans are disrespecting Ricochet, she could make a one-off appearance at the event and defend him.
"I hear you guys," she wrote.
Ricochet clarifies if Samantha Irvin will join AEW in the future
Fans believed the Highlight of the Night's fiance would follow in his footsteps and join All Elite Wrestling after quitting WWE. However, that might not be the case.
After her exit, Ricochet answered many questions by stating that the former WWE announcer would not join the Jacksonville-based promotion.
"Haha, she's not coming to AEW. You can all rest easy," he wrote.
Only time will tell if Tony Khan will bring Samantha Irvin into the company for a one-time appearance to accompany Ricochet.
