WWE veteran Shane McMahon could debut in AEW with a massive ploy in mind. Rumors of him joining the Jacksonville-based promotion have been circulating for many months now as he has had meetings with Tony Khan and Mercedes Mone, formerly known as Sasha Banks, in the past.
Many people believed that the 54-year-old could make his way into AEW when Jon Moxley started the takeover angle. However, after over two months, many rumors are put to rest as there is no sign of him arriving in the Tony Khan-led company.
Shane could make his AEW debut in the future and confront Moxley for his actions. Later, The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega, who recently appeared in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), could reunite and join Shane-O Mac to take down the Blackpool Combat Club, but there could be a major twist. The WWE veteran could turn against the babyfaces to satisfy his greed for power. The Elite will then try to take down the mighty faction led by Jon and Shane.

Former WWE manager Jim Cornette believes Shane McMahon is not the "higher power" behind Jon Moxley's actions
In a recent promo, reigning AEW World Champion Jon Moxley said that things are not in his hands anymore. Many people speculated that he had been ordered by someone at a higher level and the first name that came to everyone's mind was Shane McMahon.
While speaking on his Jim Cornette Experience podcast, former WWE manager Jim Cornette claimed that he does not believe that Shane McMahon or any other personality is the "higher power" behind Mox's vicious actions:
"What landmark event does it take now to get to Shane [McMahon] showing himself. If this wasn't the place to reveal him if he had anything to do with it... I don't think that there's a higher power."
It will be interesting to see if Shane-O Mac would ever step foot in AEW.
