AEW star Saraya (formerly known as Paige in WWE) has spent most of her wrestling career inside the ring, except when she had to retire. She hung up her wrestling boots in 2018 [later returned in 2022] owing to severe neck injuries, she suffered in 2016.

Though she retired from the ring, she was still with the sports entertainment juggernaut, taking up some non-wrestling roles. For some time in 2018, she was given the responsibilities of General Manager of SmackDown.

During her run as the show's manager, she had a segment with 22-year veteran James Ellsworth. The July 24, 2018 edition of SmackDown featured a contract signing between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe for SummerSlam.

The Anti Diva and The Phenomenal One were already in the ring when the fans saw Ellsworth interrupt them. He demanded a championship match to face AJ Styles (whom he'd already beaten thrice). When confronted by former Paige, he insulted her, thus leading the blue brand's GM to fire him on live TV.

The 39-year-old wrestler stepped into the pro wrestling territory in 2002, starting his journey in the independent circuits. He worked in WWE for a few years. After departing from WWE, he returned to the Indies.

Saraya's reaction to AEW star referencing WWE's intellectual property

On the August 7 edition of AEW Rampage, Saraya faced Nyla Rose in a winning effort. At one point in the match, her Outcasts stablemate Harley Cameron asked her to take her opponent out with 'RamPaige'.

Responding to this, she annoyingly said that it was now called the Good Knight.

"That's not what it's called anymore, it's the 'Good Knight' now Harley, it's been two years."

RamPaige was one of Saraya's finishing moves in WWE named after her ring name Paige. The name of the finisher was changed when she joined AEW.

Heading into All In, AEW hasn't yet added her to the match card for the event. It would be interesting to see how Tony Khan decides to add her to the event.
