Will Ospreay Pro Wrestling Journey

The former AEW International Champion began his career with backyard wrestling alongside his friend and future pro-wrestler Kip Sabian. Ospreay soon went to Lucha Britannia’s London Wrestling School. In 2012, he was signed by Progress Wrestling, where he soon became a major superstar.

He was contracted with the promotion for about seven years until 2019. While Ospreay has worked with many United Kingdom-based wrestling promotions, his most memorable work came at Revolution Pro Wrestling.

He first competed in RevPro in 2013 and was under contract up until 2024. Ospreay got international recognition for his work in New Japan Professional Wrestling.

It was at NJPW that Ospreay got into the debate of the greatest in-ring performers here. The English superstar consistently put on some of the best matches ever during his time here.

He made his NJPW debut in 2016 and wrestled last in 2024. Speaking of his wrestling career in the United States, Ospreay had an underwhelming stint with Ring of Honor from 2016 to 2018. However, Ospreay has had a great response in AEW where he signed full-time in 2024 and is currently a part of the AEW roster.
