AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone is currently having a great run since May 2024. However, she suffered a major setback when her bodyguard Kamille quit. WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix could fill her spot and be revealed as The CEO's new bodyguard.
The Glamazon's contract with WWE expired in 2024 and she is currently a free agent. Beth Phoenix has stayed in shape during her time away from the squared circle and it could also be a potential hint at her future. Phoenix could join her husband Adam Copeland in AEW who also left WWE to join Tony Khan's promotion in 2023.
Beth Phoenix is already a made star but Tony Khan bringing her into the company with the role of Mercedes Mone's bodyguard can be a unique story. She could later turn on Mone and start a rivalry for the TBS Championship which could pull some eyes to the All Elite Wrestling women's division.

Beth was even present backstage during the recent Fight for the Fallen edition of Dynamite. This has added fuel to the rumors of her joining the Jacksonville-based promotion in the future.
Beth Phoenix could join AEW soon according to Booker T
During a recent episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, NXT commentator Booker T opened up about Beth Phoenix becoming a free agent after WWE contract expiry. The former World Champion reflected on her incredible resume and claimed that Adam Copeland (FKA Edge) could make one phone call to set up her All Elite Wrestling debut.
"Beth Phoenix is now a free agent. She's no longer part of WWE. I mean, she had a hell of a career, started in the developmental system, FCW, back in 2007 and just wrapping it up that's a hell of a career, 17 years with the WWE. And I'm sure with Edge being over there in AEW, all he has to do is make a phone call and boom, the Hall of Fame couple will be back together again. So, that's the way I see that," he said.
The fans will have to wait and see if Beth Phoenix joins Adam Copeland and FTR in the Rated FTR faction in All Elite Wrestling.
