The 2025 men's and women's Royal Rumble matches are being speculated to be once-in-a-lifetime spectacles. The company has announced four of the 30 entrants in the men's clash: LA Knight, CM Punk, Jey Uso, and John Cena.
Royal Rumble matches are one of WWE's finest creations. The outcomes of these bouts are unpredictable and their winners are rewarded with the opportunity to win gold at WrestleMania. Interestingly, over the years this stipulation has seen numerous returns and debuts. With AEW currently being the Stamford-based company's biggest rival, it will be interesting to see if any former All Elite stars show up at the upcoming PLE.
Here are 5 former AEW stars who could show up at Royal Rumble 2025.

#5 & #4. Matt & Jeff Hardy
The Hardy Boyz are one of the most iconic tag teams of all time. They have achieved immense success in various promotions across the globe, predominantly in WWE. They are currently signed to TNA, and before that spent time in AEW.
Matt & Jeff Hardy failed to capture any titles in All Elite Wrestling. Nevertheless, their run in the Tony Khan-led company was adequate. They are still legends and since TNA has a working relationship with WWE, there is a possibility that the duo might show up in the Royal Rumble 2025 match.
#3. Parker Boudreaux had a brief AEW run
26-year-old Parker Boudreaux began his wrestling career in NXT. However, after he was released by the company in 2022, he joined AEW. In the Jacksonville-based promotion, he appeared in shows such as AEW Rampage, AEW Dark, and AEW Dark: Elevation. Unfortunately, in early 2024, his time in All Elite Wrestling came to an end.
Over the past few years, the erstwhile Harland has improved leaps and bounds inside the ring. He has time on his side and could still become a massive star in the future. An appearance in the Royal Rumble 2025 match could change the trajectory of his career. Furthermore, WWE could sign him again and pair him with Paul Heyman, the legendary manager who compared him with "The Next Big Thing", Brock Lesnar.
#2. Jake Hager
Jake Hager was a WWE star from 2006 to 2011. During this run, he won the World Heavyweight Championship, the ECW Championship, and the WWE United States Championship. In 2019, he joined AEW and became the powerhouse of the Inner Circle.
In 2024, his contract with the Jacksonville-based company expired. Since then, he has performed on the independent circuit from time to time. It will be interesting to see if he makes an appearance at the upcoming pay-per-view. He is 42 and still has a lot to offer to the WWE Universe. He could be a valuable addition to the company's roster if Triple H decides to re-sign him.
#1. Ric Flair could appear at the Royal Rumble
Ric Flair could make a shocking appearance at Royal Rumble, but not as a participant in the match. WWE could book Charlotte Flair's return and have her father play a role in this angle.
Ric Flair could interfere in the women's Royal Rumble match and either help or screw over his daughter's opportunity to go to WrestleMania. This would set up a compelling feud between the two which will also see the women's division get involved.
