The Adelaide Crows will hope to avoid a fourth consecutive defeat on Saturday, June 29, when they welcome the GWS Giants to Adelaide Oval in the AFL Round 16. Matthew Nick's side is 15th in the standings with a 4-1-9 record and anything short of a victory this week will kill any chances of them making the qualifying finals.

The Crows were not in action last week, but losses to Hawthorn, Richmond, and Sydney before a bye sent them further down the table after what looked like an upward trajectory in May. Adelaide will look to turn their fortunes around and salvage their season with a positive performance after a week's rest.
