Melbourne Demons' young star, Daniel Turner, is set to renew his contract with the team. According to a recent report, the AFL star seeks to extend his contract with a multi-year deal.
Daniel Turner has played in five matches for the Melbourne Demons since joining the club in 2021. He was selected in the mid-season draft and has performed well. Earlier this year, he made headlines for kicking three goals against Richmond in Round 7. He is an up-and-coming player with great potential, so the club is looking to secure him with a multi-year deal.
Although he joined the team in 2021, Daniel Turner made his debut in a match against Collingwood in Round 13 of the 2022 season. He only competed in two matches last season without scoring any goals.
Turner contributed three phenomenal goals to the Melbourne Demons' 85-42 victory against Richmond in Round 7 in 2024. His performance grabbed the attention of the other clubs, but Melbourne Demons certainly didn't want to lose a rising star, so they are closing a deal with him.
Besides his goals, Daniel Turner made 18 disposals with an average of 9.0 per game in 2024.
