Adelaide coach Matthew Nicks expressed his disappointment with his team's performance in their match against the Richmond Tigers. The clubs went head-to-head in their recent match, resulting in an eight-point victory for the Tigers.

Following the match, Matthew Nicks criticized his team, stating that they had no excuses and were "not good enough." He mentioned that the team was confident after their win against West Coast in Round 11 but struggled in the subsequent rounds. Speaking about the Crows' performance, Nicks said (via Fox Sports):

“We don’t have excuses … we’re not good enough at this point. It can be a really quick turnaround from having great belief.
“Three weeks ago we played a game (against West Coast) where most are saying ‘Hey, this team’s got some confidence’. So, it can come and go so quickly, and at the moment, we don’t have any.
“We felt confident at the start of the game, we played some footy throughout this game where it looked like we had it, then post-siren we sit in a pretty dark spot. As do a lot of our supporters and our members who came out … they have the right to feel that way; really disappointed in what we’re putting out there," he added.

In the match between the Adelaide Crows and Richmond, the Tigers took an early lead, but the Crows bounced back. However, the Tigers upped the ante in the third quarter before going on to claim a 79-71 victory.
