"I'm thinking we all cool"- Billionaire Michael Jordan didn't even pay Isiah Thomas for The Last Dance before backstabbing him
Isiah Thomas and Michael Jordan did not like each other at all. Both were fierce competitors who had many epic fights during their primes. However, their fight continued long after they retired.
Back in 2020, Jordan released "The Last Dance," a documentary that followed the Chicago Bulls in the 1997-98 season. The Bulls legend shared many interesting stories in the documentary, but he also portrayed Thomas in a negative light.
Isiah Thomas recently appeared on the "All The Smoke" podcast with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, sharing his thoughts regarding the documentary and Michael Jordan.

Isiah Thomas shares his thoughts regarding Michael Jordan's documentary
Michael Jordan was eliminated several times by Thomas and his Detroit Pistons. Before he turned into the best basketball player in the world, the Chicago Bulls shooting guard had to go through several first-round exits.
The Pistons played tough physical basketball and did all they could to stop MJ. Considering that Jordan had many battles against them, he wanted Thomas, the former Pistons point guard, to appear in "The Last Dance."
"His [Jordan's] producer and Mike, they called me, 'Hey, we need you in the video, can't tell my story without you, you're so important.'" Thomas said on the podcast. "Now I'm thinking we all cool."
The Pistons legend said that he spent two hours talking for the documentary and had a lot of good stuff to say. However, most of his interview was not used and he was made fun of for the "meeting the criteria" meme.

Thomas also revealed that he did not get a check for his interview. However, he did not ask for it either as he wanted to help Michael Jordan.
"I came up in the era where we give each other knowledge," Thomas said. "The game is meant to be told, not sold."
"This is a generation that has flipped it all around. We don't work with each other, we don't share with each other, we don't pass on knowledge, we don't uplift each other," Thomas added. "I went there to uplift."
Considering that "The Last Dance" is one of the most popular sports documentaries of all time, there is no doubt that Thomas should have received a paycheck. Furthermore, Jordan's net worth is estimated around $2 billion.

Isiah Thomas even said that Jordan should appear on the "All The Smoke" podcast and talk about the documentary with Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes. However, it's very unlikely that this will happen.
