Dave Hollis, aged 47, passes away

It is a sad day, especially for those of us who love Disney, as Dave Hollis, who was instrumental in bringing some of the best Disney productions of the past ten years to theaters near us, has passed away.

Dave Hollis took his last breath on February 11th. He had recently been hospitalized for heart-related problems, and on Saturday, he passed away in his Austin home. On Tuesday, February 14th, he would have turned 48.

Rachel Hollis posted about Dave’s death in an Instagram picture with the caption, “We are devastated. I have no words and my heart is too broken to find them. Please wrap the kids up in prayers as we try and navigate through the unthinkable.”

On February 5, Dave uploaded his final Instagram post, which featured a picture of his daughter Noah grinning while fishing. “From a freeze to shorts in less than 48 hours. Today was a good day”, he wrote in the caption.
