Pro Kabaddi League: List of raiders with 300+ raid points in a single PKL season ft. Pardeep Narwal
Pro Kabaddi League has given some brilliant individual performances over the seasons, especially from raiders. These players have raised the bar for other upcoming raiders. Among these performances, some stand out not just for their sheer dominance but for setting benchmarks that seem almost impossible to reach.
Reaching a landmark is always special, and there are a handful of raiders who have managed to breach the 300+ raid point mark in a single season. On that note, let’s take a look at the list of raiders who managed to breach that magic number in the Pro Kabaddi League.
#4 Pardeep Narwal (PKL 5 & 7)
They don’t call him the ‘Record Breaker’ for nothing! Pardeep Narwal’s exploits in PKL Season 5 were nothing short of exceptional. Playing for the Patna Pirates, Pardeep amassed a jaw-dropping 369 raid points in 26 matches, averaging a staggering 14.19 raid points per game. His 19 Super 10s led Patna to their third consecutive PKL title.
This was the first time any raider breached the 300-point mark in PKL history, and Pardeep didn’t just break the barrier, he obliterated it. He finished a mammoth 150 points ahead of the next-best raider, Rohit Kumar (219 points).
Fast forward to PKL Season 7, and Pardeep did the unthinkable yet again. This time, he clocked 302 raid points in 22 games, becoming the first and only raider to achieve this milestone twice.
#3 Pawan Sehrawat (PKL 7 & 8)
When Pardeep dominated, Pawan Sehrawat answered back in style. Known as the ‘Hi-Flyer’, Pawan lit up PKL Season 7 with 346 raid points in 24 matches, narrowly missing Pardeep’s all-time record. Averaging an incredible 14.41 points per game, Pawan also notched 18 Super 10s, proving he was the MVP for the Bengaluru Bulls.
Not content with just one stellar season, Pawan replicated his brilliance in PKL Season 8, registering 304 raid points in 24 outings. His 12.66 average raid points and 18 Super 10s reaffirmed his place as one of the most consistent raiders in PKL history.
#2 Naveen Kumar (PKL 7)
If consistency is king, then Naveen Kumar is the crown prince of PKL. Emerging as a force in PKL Season 7, Naveen dazzled fans with 301 raid points in 23 games, averaging 13.08 raid points per match, and delivered an astonishing 22 Super 10s, yes, 22 Super 10s in 23 matches!
Despite his phenomenal run, Naveen’s Dabang Delhi KC fell just short of glory, losing the final to the Bengal Warriorz 34-39. Naveen’s individual brilliance (18 points in the final) couldn’t seal the deal, but his impact that season remains legendary.
Notably, PKL Season 7 was the only season to feature three raiders, Pardeep, Pawan, and Naveen, crossing the 300+ raid point milestone.
#1 Devank Dalal (PKL 11)
From one Patna Pirate legend to the next, Devank Dalal picked up the mantle in PKL Season 11 and delivered a breakout season. Having been underutilized in his stints with Jaipur Pink Panthers in Seasons 9 and 10, Devank came into his own with Patna.
The raider tallied 301 raid points in 25 matches, averaging 12.04 raid points per game with 18 Super 10s. His consistency powered Patna to the final, but despite his herculean efforts, the Pirates fell short, losing to the Haryana Steelers.
