@liam_whelan11 @RapSheet Some guys are better college coaches. See Saban and Kelly.
@RapSheet Didn't work out in the NFL, but Rhule was a program builder in college football. Did an excellent job at Temple & Baylor... good hire for the Huskers.
@RapSheet Bro getting paid from the panthers and Nebraska W bag chaser

@RapSheet If i had to live in Nebraska i would ask for the biggest contract ever
@RapSheet Solid hire, good college coach just didn’t work out in the NFL. Hope he succeeds there.

@RapSheet Perfect hire for both parties. Rhule is a good college coach but he wasn't getting a major program job. Nebraska has potential to be great again but they weren't getting a top level hire. Look for them to improve over the next few years.
@RapSheet Rhule is a bad NFL coach but very solid college coach—especially when it comes to difficult rebuilds.

Nebraska fans should be excited

Rhule's record as a head coach in college football is quite impressive. He had a 19-20 record from 2017-2019 at Baylor and a 28-23 record from 2013-2016 at Temple.

However, in the NFL, he had a record of 11-27 while being the head coach of the Carolina Panthers. Hopefully, he will be able to perform well in Nebraska and get his respect back among the football fans.

Matt Rhule has officially accepted the Nebraska Head Coaching position, according to @RapSheet

"I love it. I honestly I think it's good one whenever we were in Boone, North Carolina, Matt rule was still the Carolina Panthers head coach, right. We are in Carolina. And I mentioned like Matt rule. I don't know if his job is safe. All of Carolina cheered."

He added,

"The App State fans cheered for him to get fired and get sent out of the NFL. I think this is great for Matt rule. Yes. I love Matt rule. I love the type of coach he is I love the success he's had getting back into college finding his way yet again. I'm pumped for him. I'm pumped for Nebraska..."
