Brad Marchand sends sparks flying on social media as he takes dig at 2025 NHL All-Star game announcement

Brad Marchand of the Boston Bruins is known to be quite the chirper and get inside the heads of opponents on the ice. Recently, he has been doing the same on social media, where he had an online spat with fans. On Monday (February 20) night, Marchand took his "skills" on Twitter to flame some NHL teams.

Puck Empire posted a rumor on Instagram, providing an update that Seattle, Detroit and Edmonton seem to be the frontrunners to host the 2025 NHL All-Star Game. Marchand replied to the post:

"Lol can't wait to see how many guys boycott that game"

@Bmarch63 @RearAdBsBlog It’s also a joke that Seattle and Vegas are the winter classic next year terrible for ratings. No one in true hard core hockey markets gives a shit about Seattle or Vegas

Brad Marchad is an absolute savage on social media

Earlier in February, Marchand was caught in a crossfire by reporters when he had initially tweeted, "Shut your pie hole Craig" in response to Arizona Coyotes reporter Craig Morgan's tweet that reported a spat between Trevor Zegras of the Ducks and Coyotes' Troy Stecher.

Jacob Stoller tweeted about his conversation with Marchand and shared his opinion on Marchand's reasoning, calling it weird:

I asked Brad Marchand about this tweet after the morning skate at Scotiabank arena today.

What inclined him to tweet that?

"Ah, nothing. I read that tweet and that's what popped in my head so I said it."

Marchand was not one to stand down and replied with yet another 'savage' comment that said:

"I’m sorry you didn’t like my answer Jacob; Would you like me to say something different so you don’t have something so stupid to hang your career on? Great reporting this am!!"

Sportsnet's Steve Dangle stepped in to try and contain Marchand, but the Bruins winger was on a roll and could not be stopped.

@Bmarch63 @JLStoller That make you feel big? TF is this? Relax.
