WWE News: Update on Dean Ambrose's future following his contract expiry date

What's the story?

Earlier today, eagle-eyed WWE fans noticed that Dean Ambrose was on the listings for WWE's May European Tour following WrestleMania, but the company has since removed The Lunatic Fringe from the listings.

In case you didn't know...

Dean Ambrose is a former WWE Champion, but he opted not to renew his WWE contract following its expiry date in April, something that the company revealed publically back in January.

One of the reasons why Ambrose decided against renewing his contract was because of the way creative were booking him as a heel, whilst other fan reports have speculated that Ambrose couldn't face the reality of life on the road without Roman Reigns.

The heart of the matter

Dean Ambrose's contract officially expires in April, which means that he wouldn't be available for the May European tour when the company travels to the United Kingdom. Reigns has also been advertised for this show, but earlier today it was revealed that Ambrose was also on the listings to be on hand in London on May 13th.

The company has moved fast and been able to remove Ambrose from any of the listings which can be seen here. This listing had started rumors that The Lunatic Fringe had already signed a new contract with WWE, something that was expected after Roman Reigns made his return on Monday Night Raw.

What's next?

This was the biggest hint that WWE had given the WWE Universe when it comes to whether or not Ambrose was going to re-sign with the company after this year's WrestleMania. It appears that there is a much better chance that he now might since Roman Reigns is back by his side.
