Over the last ten years, My Hero Academia characters have made a profound impact on fans of the series. The final chapter of the manga gave a strong ending to the long story, concluding the main plot lines and giving a feeling of completion for its dear characters. However, when fans flipped over the final page, they felt that some important My Hero Academia characters who had been present throughout this entire series were absent.

These My Hero Academia characters, who used to be the major elements of the plotline, were not there in the last chapter, leading fans to wonder how things might have turned out if they had been included.

Given their impact on the story or the possibility of unresolved arcs, their presence in the final chapter could have added extra depth and nostalgia. Here are ten My Hero Academia characters who weren't present in the finale but should have been.

Nezu, Tamaki Amajiki, and 8 other My Hero Academia characters were absent in the final chapter but should not have been

1) Overhaul

Overhaul, also known as Kai Chisaki, was one of the most interesting villains in My Hero Academia. Fans remember him for his cruel way of thinking about "curing" Quirks and because he had strong links to Eri's terrible history. Given the major influence he had on this series, it seems like a chance lost that he wasn't there for the last part.

He could have been given a mention or made a quick appearance, which would have brought his story to an end. This is particularly fitting because when he was defeated, Eri got freed, and her trauma eventually got reversed.

The twisted ideology of Overhaul and his downfall from power were very important in shaping the heroes' journey. This makes him one of the My Hero Academia characters whose fate deserves to be recognized at the end of this series.

2) Hisashi Midoriya

Hisashi Midoriya, Izuku's father, remains a mysterious figure in My Hero Academia. The story doesn't tell fans much about him or his part, and the last chapter could have been a good chance to give some closure or understanding about this character.

If Hisashi Midoriya had been present, at least in the last chapter of the series, it would have been easier for My Hero Academia fans to grasp Izuku's family connections and recognize how his absence influenced Izuku's growth.

A panel featuring Izuku and his father, or even a short conversation regarding how Hisashi impacted Izuku's beliefs, might have provided a sense of closure to the family's story. This also relates to one key concept in this series- legacy and linkages.

3) Nejire Hado

Nejire Hado, one of the members of the Big 3 at U.A. High, should have been mentioned or included in the final chapter of My Hero Academia along with her friends. While fans saw Mirio Togata, featuring Nejire's growth and achievements might have provided a fuller ending for this Big 3 tale.

As the Hero with a power Quirk, she made big contributions and showed great growth in the series. Her absence from the last chapter was an opportunity lost to highlight both teamwork among the Big 3 as well as their separate impacts on the storyline.

4) Tamaki Amajiki

Similar to Nejire Hado, the absence of Tamaki Amajiki in the last chapter of My Hero Academia is notable, as he plays an important role as part of the Big 3.

Tamaki, who has his own special and complicated Quirk, made a big impact in Overhaul arc, showing how much he grew and committed to being a hero. His problems and successes were key elements of the story, yet they were missing from the final chapter of the manga.

In the final chapter, it might have been nice to include Tamaki somehow. He could have been shown in a celebration of victory or briefly have him interact with other My Hero Academia characters. Even quick mentions like Mirio Togata, in relation to the final battles, would have paid tribute to his role.

5) Nezu

Nezu, the principal of U.A. High School, is a clever and mysterious character who plays a big part in shaping students' futures and helping with the battle against villainy. His smart thinking and strong dedication to heroism were key parts of the story.

In the last chapter, which is all about finishing up big storylines and praising the heroes' victories, it's surprising that Nezu is absent. Even a small reference or appearance would have been appropriate for his part.

A panel showing Nezu thinking about the reconstruction of the school's building or having a conversation with the new students of the U.A. High School might have drawn attention to his continuous commitment and put an end to his character.

6) Ryukyu

In the fight against the Paranormal Liberation Front, Ryukyu played a crucial role in Hero Society. Her strong influence due to her abilities and reputation among heroes makes it surprising she wasn't present in My Hero Academia's last chapter.

Ryukyu's presence in the final chapter would have given more consistency to the story while also showing appreciation for everything she did to make a peaceful society. A small reference or sight could have shown her recovering and continuing to help in the process of reconstructing society, displaying her strength and guidance.

7) Rock Lock

Rock Lock, a Pro Hero known for his Quirk that lets him lock items in position, was an important character who made a strong impact, especially in the earlier parts of My Hero Academia.

Rock Lock's absence from the final chapter is noticeable, especially because of his involvement in the Paranormal Liberation War and how it affected Hero Society. Having Rock Lock included in the last chapter of the manga could have provided a touching moment where his courage and selflessness are acknowledged.

8) Fat Gum

Fat Gum, a hero who is loved by fans for his special Quirk and lively character, was important in My Hero Academia. However, he didn't appear during the last part.

It would have been good to include Fat Gum in the final chapter as a way of acknowledging his importance to the story. He participated in the Shie Hassaikai arc, assisting during the battle against Overhaul and later mentoring young heroes, which made him crucial for the series' progress.

9) Vlad King

Vlad King, known for his Quirk "Vlad's Blood," is one of the well-known My Hero Academia characters. He plays an important part in guiding students and participating in the hero community, yet he was not present in the last chapter.

In the last part of the series, even a minor mention of Vlad King might have carried a major acknowledgment of how hero society affects everything.

10) Itsuka Kendo

Itsuka Kendo, the leader of Class 1-B from Big 3's rivals, showed her strong and confident personality many times in the series. Her leadership skills and good relationships with other My Hero Academia characters made her figure important to the story.

Her growth and involvement earlier in the story were impressive, but she was not seen in the last chapter. Having Itsuka Kendo in the conclusion would have given a feeling of completion for Class 1-B and highlighted the teamwork of all the students.

Final thoughts

The final chapter provided closure for many My Hero Academia characters, but it could have been more complete if it had included or recognized some important people.

My Hero Academia characters, like Overhaul, Hisashi Midoriya, Nejire Hado, and Tamaki Amajiki, each played important roles in making the series so interesting. Their absence in the final chapter left gaps that could have been filled with moments of closure or small appearances, adding depth to the story's end.
