After arriving at the event, Hanyu is momentarily captivated by the familiar cosplay scenes. However, she reminds herself that she's there for her students. While looking around, she notices Nagomi, who stunningly cosplays a new character.

The episode then switches to Nagomi, who is slightly apprehensive about Ririsa Amano. She tells her managers how Ririsa reminds her of Mayura. The pro cosplayer then reveals how she could never reach the same heights as Mayura despite trying so hard.

Nagomi is also furious that Mayura retired before she could win against her. At the same time, she discusses the conversation she had with Ririsa with her managers. Nagomi feels if her words distress Ririsa, she won't be able to survive the industry long.

Elsewhere, Nagomi's words play in Ririsa's mind as she questions her love for cosplay. Magino assures her that everything will be fine. Meanwhile, Masamune and others observe Nagomi's cosplay. The pro cosplayer grabs the attention as she perfectly embodies her character.

On the other side, Ririsa informs Masamune via a phone call that she can't find her Liliel skirt. The girl further plunges into depression, thinking she perhaps has no right to cosplay as Liliel. Masamune tries his best to make Ririsa understand but gets angry when she still doubts herself.

As Masamune and others leave Ririsa alone for a while, Mayura enters. She cosplays as her favorite elven character to console Ririsa. On the other hand, Masamune frantically searches for the skirt. Since the skirt was in the bag, Masamune thought someone might have grabbed it by accident.

Eventually, he returns with the skirt and assures Ririsa with words of encouragement. Masamune tells Ririsa how much he believes in her. He thinks the girl can overcome her insecurities because she's not Liliel but Ririsa Amano, the cosplayer.

Masamune's words bring tears to Ririsa's eyes. However, with fifteen minutes left before the event ends, she feels she won't make it because it takes around one hour to transform into Liliel's avatar. The episode ends with Mayura assuring Ririsa that she will give her a helping hand.
