She grabs the spotlight from Nagomi and engages in a cosplay duel with her. Nagomi can't believe Mayura, who was supposed to be retired, has returned to the cosplay scene. She notices a bulk of photographers taking Mayura's pictures than hers.

Nagomi accepts Mayura's challenge and takes her cosplay a notch higher with bold moves. Yet, she realizes the crowd isn't as invested in her as in Mayura. The pro cosplayer then recalls her past, when she met Mayura for the first time. The episode reveals the striking ideals the two cosplayers share.

While Mayura loves to flaunt her love for her favorite elven character through cosplay, Nagomi loves the concept of cosplay itself. Yet, she can't fathom why Mayura gets more applause than her. Meanwhile, Mayura leaves the stage, leaving Nagomi perplexed.

At that moment, Ririsa arrives, dressed as Liliel. The photographers and the cosplay notice Ririsa's earnest effort as they begin to click her pictures. Nagomi notices Ririsa grabbing the limelight. Once again, she delves into a monologue and reveals the bits from her past.

Apparently, Nagomi envies Ririsa's earnest love for cosplay. Once upon a time, she shared the same smile as Ririsa, the smile that comes out naturally when you love cosplay. However, the industry's harsh reality robbed the pro cosplayer of her smile.
