The episode begins with Masamune Okumura accompanying Ririsa to a fabric shop as she wants to find inspiration for her next costume. During her visit, Ririsa gets invited to the Cinderella Star Cosplay Event by an intimidating person.

Ririsa wonders whether it's a challenge since the person looks quite furious. She also speculates that the person could be Nonoa, the fourth-ranked cosplayer from the legendary Mr. Camera's Five Rising Cosplay Star blog.

Meanwhile, Nonoa returns home and changes to her favorite cosplay avatar. It is revealed that she means no harm to Ririsa but wants to befriend her. Yet, her social anxiety prevents her from expressing her actual feelings.

In any case, Ririsa and Masamune reach the event's location, accompanied by Mayura. They notice Nagomi, who attended the event as an official guest. Meanwhile, Nonoa eavesdrops on their conversation and discovers she made a terrible first impression on Ririsa.

A short backstory also reveals how much she adores the character Liliel. Ever since her childhood, Nonoa has been an "Otaku." She was the center of attraction among her friends. However, as she grew older, she realized her friends detached themselves from her.

However, everything changed the day she learned about cosplay. Nonoa realized there was a world where she could communicate her hobbies with other like-minded individuals. Moreover, the moment she saw Liliel on the internet, she wanted to be friends with her.

As such, she badly wants to change Ririsa's first impression of her. However, no matter how much she tries, Nonoa's social anxiety becomes a barrier. During the cosplay event, Ririsa approaches Nonoa to take a picture, but she fails to reply.

She runs away, all the while regretting her decision. Suddenly, Nonoa recalls how her friends used to call her "weird" for voicing her passion. The horrific memories continue to haunt her as Nonoa plunges into despair. At that moment, she hears a voice. The episode ends with Masamune Okumura extending his hand to Nonoa.
