He is seen obsessing over his favorite manga character, Liliel. Okumura reveals that he has no interest in real-life girls and is only interested in 2D girls from manga or games. Suddenly, a bespectacled girl enters the club, much to the shock of Masamune.

She introduces herself as Ririsa, a first-year student who loves manga. Masamune feels he cannot let the girl mess up his perfect "sanctuary." However, gradually, he discovers that Ririsa is as much an otaku as him. What's more, her favorite character happens to be Liliel.

Although Masamune finds it difficult to accept that there's a girl who has the same interest as him, Ririsa's vast knowledge of manga and Liliel puts his doubts to rest. Besides her love for manga, Ririsa further spills a secret: she is passionate about cosplaying.

She shows Masamune her favorite collection of cosplay photos and videos and reveals that she wants to make one of her own someday. Ririsa developed a passion for cosplay after visiting a convention. Since then, she has minutely observed the manga characters and noted their special features.

After wholeheartedly revealing her secret, Ririsa requests Masamune to become her photographer. She even cosplays Liliel to win the boy's heart over. Masamune realizes how serious Liliel is about cosplaying, so he takes a few pictures of hers. Ririsa simply adores the images that Masamune captures.
