8 anime characters who can tank Boruto's Rasengan Uzuhiko

With the release of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga, fans were introduced to Boruto's Rasengan Uzuhiko, a new jutsu that he seemingly created during the timeskip.

It is an ability that uses the planet's chakra and is capable of defeating a God Tree-level enemy instantly if given the time to perfect it. This was evident in how Boruto nearly erased Hidari using an imperfect Rasengan Uzuhiko.

With that, one can only wonder which anime characters could possibly withstand the planetary forces exerted by the Rasengan Uzuhiko. Thus, here we shall look at the same.

Aizen to Buu: 8 anime characters who can tank Boruto's Rasengan Uzuhiko

1) Sosuke Aizen

As Bleach fans would know, Sosuke Aizen became immortal after absorbing the Hogyoku. This state allowed him to tank Ichigo Kuroksaki's Mugetsu. The technique's power indeed forced him to regenerate himself to the previous form. However, the sheer fact that he tanked it speaks volumes.

Hence, with his immortality, Sosuke Aizen should be able to tank Boruto's Rasengan Uzuhiko. The question is whether or not it will force Aizens to change forms.

2) Rimuru Tempest

Rimuru Tempest from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime can tank Boruto's Rasengan Uzuhiko. This is because their Ultimate Skill, Beelzebuth, acts like a Black Hole and absorbs its target.

If Boruto were to face off against Rimuru and launch his jutsu at them, Rimuru could counter the jutsu and possibly defeat the Shinobi instantly if they manage to activate their Ultimate Skill in time.

3) Whis

As Dragon Ball fans would know, Whis is the angel guardian of Universe 7's God of Destruction Beerus. Thus, as an Angel, he can only be killed if he is "eradicated," which is a task that can only be overlooked by the Omni King or Grand Priest.

4) Saitama

Saitama from One Punch Man is arguably one of the most broken characters. This is evident from his fight against Awakened Garou. During the fight, Saitama not only destroyed the outer portion of Jupiter with a sneeze but also flipped one of Jupiter's moons effortlessly.

Hence, it is very likely that Saitama will be able to tank Boruto's Rasengan Uzuhiko and evolve into an all-new level.

5) Dante Zogratis

As Black Clover fans would know, Dante Zogratis from the Spade Kingdom has two Magic attributes: his own attribute, Body Magic, and Lucifero's attribute, Gravity Magic. Both abilities are perfect when it comes to tanking Boruto's Rasengan Uzuhiko.

This is because Gravity Magic allows Dante Zogratis to use Gravity Singularity, essentially a small black hole capable of destroying everything in its way. As for Body Magic would allow Dante to regenerate parts of his body even if he were to get hit with the jutsu.

6) Marshall D. Teach

Similar to Dante Zogratis from Black Clover, Marshall D. Teach "Blackbeard" also has two attributes. However, in his case, the powers of Yami Yami no Mi are the only ones that work in his favor against Rasengan Uzuhiko.

Yami Yami no Mi Devil Fruit allows Blackbeard to create, control, and transform into darkness at will. The darkness has strong properties of gravity and absorption, allowing Blackbeard to pull in and crush anything like a black hole. Therefore, Blackbeard should also be able to take down Boruto's jutsu.

7) Zaraki Kenpachi

While Bleach fans know that Zaraki Kenpachi cannot be put in the same category as other Shinigami and Gotei 13 captains, they, too, may have a tough time arguing how he would tank Rasengan Uzuhiko.

But it is completely possible as during his fight against Gremmy Thoumeaux. He was sealed inside infinite space, which should have effectively killed him. Instead, he survived the ordeal and stepped right back into the fight. Thus, if Zaraki Kenpachi survived the forces exerted by space, he should be able to handle the forces exerted by a planet.

8) Buu

Buu from Dragon Ball Z arguably had the best regenerative powers. This is because, despite being blasted away by Vegeta and Gotenks on two different occasions, he was able to return from the "dead" using his regenerative powers.

Similarly, even if Boruto were to hit Buu with his Rasengan Uzuhiko, Buu could very likely return to fight him after recovering himself using his regenerative powers.
