More about the Infinity Castle and what fans can expect in the upcoming story arc

The Infinity Castle was first introduced in season 1 of the show. This was the same building that hosted a meeting involving Muzan and the Lower Moon demons. Muzan ended up killing all the Lower Moon demons except Enmu. The building was controlled by Nakime, the demon always found seated in a corner playing the Biwa. In the manga, she becomes the replacement Upper Moon 4 demon who takes on a support role and attempts to help Muzan retrieve Nezuko Kamado.

This labyrinth will host a variety of fights from the upcoming story arc. One of the first fights that fans will witness will take place between Zenitsu Agatsuma and Kaigaku. The latter was Zenitsu’s former upperclassman who became an Upper Moon demon.

Furthermore, viewers will also see fights involving Akaza, Doma, and Kokushibo in this building. While Nakime constantly changes the layout of the structure, the new leader of the Demon Slayer Corps will coordinate with the demon hunters and help them navigate through the maze.

It will be quite interesting to see Ufotable animating the constant shifting of the building’s dimensions and orientations as demon hunters engage against Muzan’s lackeys in a fierce fight. The upcoming story arc will be covered in a trilogy of films. The Infinity Castle story arc is one of the most important parts of the story, which will show a shift in the balance of power.
