With the Jujutsu Kaisen manga set to end in just two chapters, the manga series' fans have started becoming desperate to witness Satoru Gojo's return. While it has been confirmed that the fan-favorite character has passed away, a hidden detail in chapter 269 suggests that he will return before the manga's conclusion.
The manga's previous chapter majorly focused on the Jujutsu Sorcers discussing what they did and could have done during the Shinjuku Showdown. During this, one of the manga panels featured a grandfather clock. While the clock's appearance was very random, it may have hinted at Satoru Gojo's imminent return.

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269 suggests Gojo's return before the manga's conclusion
Following the release of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269, many fans began theorizing about what they could expect from the manga's final two chapters. Just then, one manga fan on X @BIGDADDYGOJO pointed out a hidden detail in the latest chapter that adds another "coincidental" hint about Satoru Gojo's imminent return.
In the manga chapter, just as the Jujutsu Sorcerers were discussing the New Shadow Style, one of the manga panels surprisingly showed a grandfather clock. No one was speaking about the clock or time, and neither did the clock have any striking features. Regardless, the manga dedicated a panel to the clock.
Upon observing the manga panel, @BIGDADDYGOJO arrived at their theory. As one can observe, the clock in the manga panel shows the time "2:21."
While under normal circumstances, the time held no significant value, the number "221" did. This is because Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 221 was the one that featured Satoru Gojo's return from the Prison Realm.
Additionally, fans must remember that, in the previous chapter, the manga showed fans a panel of a clock showing the time "1:52." Considering that there are 29 minutes between 1:52 and 2:21, and Satoru Gojo's age was 29, there's a good chance that he will return close to the anime's conclusion.
In the manga, Gege Akutami has made several references to Buddha whenever Gojo was associated. Therefore considering how Buddha had left his home at 29 to become enlightened, there's a chance that Gojo was also killed in the story so that he could return enlightened close to the manga's conclusion.
Lastly, unlike the anime that showed Satoru Gojo in the very first scene, the manga saw the strongest sorcerer make his first appearance in the second chapter. Therefore, manga creator Gege Akutami must have been planning for Gojo's return in the manga's penultimate chapter.
This theory could come true as Nobara Kugisaki had also made her first appearance in the manga's fifth chapter and made her return in the fifth-to-last chapter.
Hence, as per the theory provided by @BIGDADDYGOJO, fans can expect Satoru Gojo to return to the manga series in chapter 270. With the manga chapter set to be released on Monday, September 18, 2024, fans can soon find out the same.
