Based on Shizuru Minazuki’s light novel of the same name, A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring has finally received an anime adaptation by GENCO. The anime will be animated by EMT Squared under the direction of Atsushi Nigorikawa, who is acclaimed for his works in Love Tyrant and Beast Tamer.
A Journey Through Another World will be making its debut on July 7, 2024, on TV Tokyo, BS TV Tokyo, and other respective broadcasting networks in Japan. For the anime, Tebasaki Sensation has provided the opening theme song Yuru Ring Travel Days, while Goboubi will be singing MAKUAKE, the ending theme song. Read on to learn more.

The anime adaptation of A Journey Through Another World was announced on November 30, 2023, and it was eventually revealed that Nigorikawa would be helming the series at EMT Squared. Atsushi Maekawa will be handling the anime composition, while Yuki Nakano will be on character design. Akinari Suzuki will be composing the music.
For fans internationally, Crunchyroll will be making the anime available on its platform, besides a long list of new titles that have been added to the Summer 2024 catalog.
Crunchyroll will also be releasing The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord's Army was a Human, Shy Season 2, NieR: Automata Ver1.1a cours 2 and many more this July 2024.
A Journey Through Another World cast and characters
Yuusuke Shirai, who garnered a lot of praise for voicing Shuumei Sasaki in Sasaki to Miyano, Ramuda Amemura in Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap Battle and Roko-gou Sentouin in Hakenshimasu! Sentouin will play Takumi Kayano in the anime.
Haruka Tomatsu, who acclaimed popularity for portraying Zero Two in Darling in the FranXX, Asuna Yuuki in Sword Art Online and Kyouko Hori in Horimiya, will voice Silphyleel. Real-life sisters Aira Suzuki and Miharu Hanai will play the twin children of Water God Windell.
Suzuki, who has voiced Mari Ohara in Love Live!, Yoshi in Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro, and Chikage Kori in Yuki Yuna is a Hero - Churutto!, will play Allen. Miharu, who is known for portraying Twin Turbo in Umayuru, Shiori Yamaga in Selection Project and Tomoe Murakami in Cinderella Girls Gekijou, will voice Elena.

Due to a mistake by a god, Takumi Kayano loses his life and is reincarnated. Bestowed with various skills, he finds himself transported to another world—a perilous forest infested with monsters. In that forest, Takumi discovers what appears to be twin young boys and girls, whom he names Allen and Elena, and takes them under his protection.

Despite being surprised by the two effortlessly defeating monsters with their martial arts skills, Takumi eventually reaches a town and registers with the adventurer's guild to make a living. Thus begins a laid-back adventurer's life as Takumi watches over the growth of Allen and Elena!
