Jujutsu Kaisen MC finally got the spotlight in chapter 264 as Itadori Yuji expanded his domain at the end of the chapter, leaving the King of Curses dumbfounded. In the past few chapters, the Jujutsu Kaisen MC was trolled by the fandom as well as the King of Curses, as they underestimated the potential of the cursed sorcerer as he couldn't protect his closest friends from dying.

However, the Jujutsu Kaisen MC silenced all the critics as creator Gege Akutami gave him a worthy spotlight. Now, the main protagonist could be the one who could put an end to the final antagonist, and this is what the fandom wanted from the very start.

Jujutsu Kaisen MC Itadori Yuji has finally reached a level where he can beat Sukuna

After Ryomen Sukuna blasted Hana Kurusu and Aoi Todou away, Itadori joined the battle and traced the steps of the King of Curses inside Jacob's Ladder. The sorcerers smashed Sukuna into a building, not giving him a moment to rest.

The King of Curses, who had now regained his reverse cursed technique, regenerated his arm and started hitting Itadori with his cursed technique. The battle between these two sorcerers' cursed techniques continued as they reached an exhaustion state.

Sukuna thought to himself that, based on the previous encounter, the Jujutsu Kaisen MC could only hit the barrier between him and Megumi's soul. Thus, he believed there was no danger of Itadori hitting the physical body of Megumi.

However, a flashback to the time when Gojo expanded his domain against Jogo appeared when the Honored One taught Itadori about the importance of having a domain. The Jujutsu Kaisen MC then made the hand sign for his domain expansion. The next moment, Ryomen Sukuna was sitting at a train station.

In the final fight against Ryomen Sukuna, Itadori was the one who lost the most. The fight began with the demise of Gojo Satoru, who was bested by the cursed technique of the King of Curses. After that, Jujutsu Kaisen MC continued the fight with Higurama by his side.

Unfortunately, Higurama also died at the hands of Sukuna, leaving behind his weapon in the hands of Itadori. Fortunately, Itadori then received help from Choso, who played a big role in making Itadori strong enough to fight against Sukuna. Sadly, Choso also died in front of Itadori, leaving the sorcerer in repair.

Moreover, several sorcerers, including Yuta and Kusakabe, entered the battlefield but were left gravely injured after witnessing the true potential of the final antagonist of the series. The Jujutsu Kaisen MC could do nothing but stand and see the King of Curses break the spirits of sorcerers.

However, things are different after the release of the latest chapter, as Itadori could be on par with Ryomen Sukuna. Both have the same cursed technique, Shrine, and both are capable of using Reverse Cursed Technique (RCT). Most importantly, both of them have a domain that they can expand. Although Itadori's domain expansion has not been revealed, it could be as powerful as that of the King of Curses.
