In the One Piece world, Roronoa Zoro of the Straw Hat pirates is the strongest swordsman in the crew. He is widely known throughout the world as the Pirate Hunter, a title he got after he capturing numerous pirates in East Blue. Zoro holds the ambition to become the strongest swordsman in the world by surpassing Dracule Mihawk.

After a devastating defeat at the hands of Mihawk in East Blue, Zoro made up his mind to never lose again, and since then has taken down some of the strongest characters in the series, including Daz Bones of Baroque Works, Pica from Donquixote Pirates, Basil Hawkins and the most recent, King of the Beast Pirates.

The below list provides an overview of all the katanas that Roronoa Zoro has owned so far in the series.

From Yubashiri to Enma: List of all swords Roronoa Zoro owns or previously owned in One Piece

These two katanas were given to Zoro by Shimotsuki Kozaburo during his childhood. He used them alongside Wado Ichimonji until they were shattered in his first duel against Dracule Mihawk, the One Piece world's strongest swordsman.

Sandai Kitetsu is a Grade Meito sword, notorious for being "cursed" and bringing misfortune to its owner. It was forged by the great Wano swordsmith Kozuki Sukiyaki and was given to Zoro two years ago in Loguetown by the arms dealer Ipponmatsu.

4) Yubashiri

Yubashiri is one of the 50 Skillful Grade Meito. Originally an heirloom of Ipponmatsu's family, it was gifted to Zoro after Ipponmatsu witnessed Zoro's great fortune. While handcuffed to Usopp in Enies Lobby, Zoro used Yubashiri with Usopp as a situational weapon called "Hana Arashi."

Unfortunately, Yubashiri was destroyed by Shu, who rusted it to the point of crumbling during the Buster Call on Enies Lobby. It was later laid to rest at the Rumbar Pirates' gravesite on Thriller Bark.

3) Wado Ichimonji

Wado Ichimonji is one of the 21 Great Grade Meito, forged by the legendary Wano swordsmith Shimotsuki Kozaburo. It was previously owned by Kuina, Kozaburo's granddaughter and Zoro's close friend. After Kuina's untimely death, her father Koushirou entrusted the sword to Zoro 11 years ago.

Notably, Wado Ichimonji was the only one of Zoro's swords that did not shatter during his first clash with Mihawk's Supreme Grade sword, Yoru.

2) Shusui

Shusui is one of the 21 Great Grade Meito and a powerful Black Blade. It was famously wielded by the legendary samurai Ryuma and is a treasured heirloom in Wano Country. Stolen by Gecko Moria along with Ryuma's body, it was used by Ryuma's animated corpse as a zombie.

After Zoro defeated Ryuma on Thriller Bark, Ryuma bestowed Shusui to Zoro, who used it to replace Yubashiri. Even though it was a Black Blade, Zoro couldn't unleash Shusui's full power. However, it was later stolen by Gyukimaru in Wano Country and returned to Ryuma's grave, where Zoro let it remain in exchange for Enma at Hiyori's request.

1) Enma

Enma, also one of the 21 Great Grade Meito in the One Piece series, was forged by Shimotsuki Kozaburo and originally wielded by the legendary samurai, Kozuki Oden. Oden's daughter, Kozuki Hiyori, inherited Enma and bestowed it to Zoro on the condition that he returned Shusui to Ryuma's grave.

Enma is one of the two swords that inflicted a scar on Kaidou of the Four Emperors during the Raid on Onigashima in the Wano Country Arc. It has the special trait of drawing out large amounts of the wielder's Busoshoku Haki, which was shown when Zoro first used Enma and accidentally cut off a large portion of a cliff.
