One Piece characters have always been one of the most important parts of the overall narrative. Throughout the series, even side characters like Pedro, Katakuri, and Bon Clay have carved out a dedicated fanbase for themselves. While most of the One Piece characters have been explored throughout the series, some characters tied to the Void Century still remain a mystery.
Since the Void Century happened almost a millennium ago, almost no characters are present in the story who might have actually experienced it. However, the dialogue between numerous characters and the exposition makes it possible to narrow down One Piece characters who are alive and might have lived during it.

Zunesha, Emet, and 5 other One Piece characters who may be from the Void Century
1) Zunesha
Zunesha has been one of the most mysterious and fascinating characters introduced prior to the Egghead Island arc. Even during Zunesha’s introduction, it was established that he is an entity more ancient than anything the Straw Hats Crew had encountered.
Throughout the narrative, it has been stated that Zunesha is currently subjected to a punishment imposed over 800 years ago. This, along with the fact that Zunesha addresses Joyboy's name numerous times in a more personal manner, makes it possible that Zunesha was Joyboy’s direct comrade and was alive during the Void Century.
2) Emet
Emet is one of the most recent figures introduced in the Egghead Island arc, with relevancy tracing back to the Void Century. Throughout the Egghead Island arc, Emet is activated numerous times due to the drums of liberation that start ringing during Luffy’s Gear 5 transformation.
Although the actual reasons haven't yet been revealed, Emet keeps apologizing to Joyboy by directly addressing him inside its consciousness.
It was also revealed that Joyboy himself had conversed with Emet and informed him of a time several centuries later when he would be needed. Of all the other One Piece characters, Emet, being from the Void Century, is seemingly confirmed due to his direct conversation with Joyboy.
3) Imu
Imu is one of the most prominent One Piece characters, with the most evidence suggesting that Imu was alive during the founding of the World Government following the Void Century. King Cobra also mentions that literature related to the formation of the world government mentions “Imu.”
All of this, including Imu’s anger towards Nefertari D. Lili for the scattering of the Poneglyphs and eventually encouraging numerous pirates to seek out treasure, suggests that Imu directly knew Nefertari D. Lili. Hence, Imu directly blames her instead of the Nefertari family for the pirates and the Poneglyphs.
4) The Five Elders
The Five Elders, namely, Saint Saturn, Saint Mars, Saint Nusjuro, Saint Warcury, and Saint Ju Peter, have been established as a force that has been controlling the world government along with Imu. Although their dynamic hasn't been completely revealed, their dialogue suggests that Imu is similar to a ruler they’ve nurtured into power.
This, along with the fact that the Five Elders have not aged in the last few centuries, makes it possible that the Five Elders were present during the Void Century and were the parties involved in raising Imu to power.
Final Thoughts
The existence of the Five Elders and Imu during the Void Century hasn't been confirmed yet. It is entirely possible that both of these parties are descendants of the original rulers.
Although the Void Century has yet to be fully revealed and addressed, the upcoming Elbaf arc will definitely explore this time period since it is tied in with the Giants, who are one of the longest-living races in One Piece. For them, only 2-3 generations must have gone by since the Void Century.
