Masachika Kuze gets sick following his unexpected encounter with his mother at the parent-teacher meetings. A flashback scene reveals how his mother snapped at him one day when he tried to impress her with his piano skills.

The doorbell rings and Masachika discovers Alya outside, who has learned about his illness from Yuki. She adds that Yuki has asked her to pass on his medicines. After entering Masachika's house, Alya prepares a bowl of hot porridge and later borscht. She gives him his medicine and tells him to take some rest.

After waking up in the evening, Masachika goes to his living room and finds Ayano and Alya. The former tells the silver-haired girl to return home since she has come to take care of Masachika. Ayano gives Masachika his medicines, which makes him sleep soundly.

However, the next day, the boy wakes up late. During his conversation with Ayano, he discovers the medicines have drowsiness as a side effect. He figures out that Yuki is up to something.
