Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian episode 2 begins with Masachika Kuze helping Suou Yuki and Alya sort the school's storage room. Yuki casually engages with Kuze, which makes Alya slightly jealous. She sulks in Russian, thinking the boy doesn't give her the same attention.
Kenzaki, the Student Council's president, applauds Masachika and others for quickly finishing the work in the storage room. He also tells Kuze that he has heard much about his talent from Yuki. To properly thank him for his efforts, the president invites Kuze to lunch and asks Alya and Yuki to tag along.
Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian episode 2, then shows Kuze having lunch at a restaurant with Alya, Yuki, and Kenzaki. The Student's Council President implores Masachika Kuze to join the Council. However, the boy tells him that he has had enough with the Student's Council in his middle school days.
During the lunch, Kuze learns from Kenzaki that Alya will run for the School Council's President next year besides Yuki. After lunch, Kenzaki asks Kuze to walk Kujo home since he and Yuki will go in another direction.
While walking back home, Masachika Kuze asks Alya whether she truly wants to run for the next president. The Russian-Japanese girl says that she wants to but doesn't reveal why.

After walking Kujo close to her home, Masachika Kuze returns to his house. Interestingly, he notices Yuki casually reading a manga while lying on the sofa. Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian episode 2 reveals that Suou Yuki is Masachika's younger sister.
The next morning, Masachika finds his sister waking him in a rather risqué way. Since it's an off day, they go to a movie together and then head for shopping. Interestingly, they meet Alya there, who has been following them for a while.
Yuki asks Alya whether she would like to have lunch with them. She added that it would be slightly spicy food. Although Alya second-guesses her decision, she goes along with it.

Meanwhile, Yuki nonchalantly discloses that she's wearing Masachika's clothes, which confuses Alya. Kuze tries to explain that Yuki barged into his house in the morning. He doesn't want to let others know about his familial relationship with Yuki. Somehow, Alya buys his lie.

After a fiery experience at the Hell's Cauldron, Alya cleanses her palate with ice cream. Meanwhile, Yuki leaves for some work, leaving Masachika alone with Alya. The boy once again asks Alya why she's running for president.
Alya vehemently replies that she's doing it because she wants to. However, she also knows that she needs a running mate to run for the Student Council President's post. While she doesn't have a partner, she would love it if it were Kuze. Yet, she only reveals her true feelings in Russian.
After that, Alya asks Masachika whether he has any plans. She asks him to help her choose some clothes. While Masachika feels it's something personal, she decides to help her nonetheless as her friend.
Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian episode 2 shows Alya trying different clothes at the trial. She is taken aback by Masachika's whole-hearted compliments, which sends her heart aflutter.
Alya then decides to pose in a risque dress to impress Kuze further but notices Yuki instead. Embarrassment grapples Alya as she feels like disappearing into oblivion. Following that, the trio returns home via train.
Masachika bid Alya adieu, saying he would meet her again on Monday. Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian episode 2 ends with Alya realizing that Masachika and Yuki left the train at the same station.
