However, she doesn't know that Kuze understands Russian, thanks to the time he spent with a Russian girl as a child. The episode then focuses on Masachika and Alya's bond, as the girl reprimands Kuze for playing a gacha game and staying up late at night.
During the lunch break, Kuze shares a seat with his friends, Takeshi and Hikari, at the cafeteria. Takeshi wails because he cannot muster the courage to ask out girls. He is jealous of Kuze, who is friends with the school's diva, Alya.
At that moment, Alya appears at the cafeteria with her sister, Maria, and the student council's spokesperson, Yuki Suou. It is revealed that Alya is the treasurer of the student council, while her sister is the secretary.
Yuki notices Kuze and she joins him at the table with Alya. Takeshi and Hikari feel the girls are out of their league, so they leave the scene. Yuki implores Kuze to join the Students Council, reminding him that he has experience as the vice president of a Student Council during his middle school years.
When Alya inquires about it further, she learns that Yuki and Kuze have known each other since middle school. She becomes slightly jealous and blurts out her feelings in Russian.
At night, Masachika Kuze dreams about the mysterious Russian girl from his childhood. He recalls how diligently he had learned the language to converse with her. Yet, he cannot even remember her name now.
