Masachika advises Alya to eye the first term's closing ceremony speech to rouse the students' interest in her as a potential candidate. He also feels she shouldn't fake anything, but speak her mind. After their discussion at the cafe, the duo heads back home.

However, the next day at the student council office, Masachika Kuze finds out that Yuki Suou's running partner isn't Taniyama but Ayano Kimishima. Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian episode 6 ends with Masachika looking slightly worried seeing Ayano.
