Amado Sanzu is one of the few characters from the Boruto franchise whose life philosophies are still unknown. While the central ambition of this scientist was to revive his daughter, he soon got rid of his only hope (Isshiki Otsutsuki), making his aims in life ambiguous. There was also proof of him having bigger ambitions when his cloning failed, after witnessing Delta (his daughter's clone) with an entirely different personality.

So, what could be his ultimate goal? Unsurprisingly, his final aim could be to revive Akebi Sanzu, his daughter, but while doing so, he might create something that might not be human. After studying the Karma and the Otsutsuki clan, Amado diverted from his straight plan to revive Akebi, and this could be the hint that he might be planning on reviving her as a divine being.

Boruto: Exploring the character of Amado Sanzu

Amado Sanzu is one of the supporting characters from the Boruto franchise. Introduced in chapter 26/episode 179, Amado was a part of the evil organization Kara. Before joining this organization, he was a scientist who lost his daughter, Akebi Sanzu, to a mysterious disease. However, he didn't mourn her death, as Amado was adamant about reviving her using science.

So, he started her cloning process by using Akebi's cells and made a clone that perfected and replicated Akebi's appearance. Ironically, the appearance was the only similarity between the clone and Amado's daughter, as the clone had its own personality. As Amado was about to give up on his plan to revive Akebi, Isshiki Otsutsuki arrived on Earth and offered him his help in reviving Akebi.

Amado had no choice but to accept Isshiki's help and he joined Kara as an Inner member. Moreover, Akebi's clone also joined and was named Delta. In Kara, Amado had the duty to create a proper vessel for Isshiki so that he could exchange hosts with the current ones. Hearing about such a miracle, Amado started researching the Otsutsuki clan.

Soon, he realized that Isshiki aimed to destroy Earth, so he fled, betrayed Kara, and revealed everything he knew about Isshiki. This eventually led to the demise of Jigen (Isshiki's current vessel). Amado was then accompanied as a temporary member of the Hidden Leaf Village.

Strangely enough, despite his ultimate aim being the revival of Akebi, Amado's current plans in Boruto might be something else. After learning about the capabilities of the Karma, Amado started modifying Kawaki's body (as revealed in Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 15, where the protagonist revealed that Amado hadn't released Kawaki's full Karma powers).

So, he might be onto something bigger than just the revival of his daughter. His aim could be to revive Akebi through Kawaki's Karma. Where normally Karma eventually leads to Otsutsukification, Amado might be modifying Kawaki's Karma to lead towards Akebi-fication, which might revive her daughter and also potentially make her an Otsutsuki clan member.

Final thoughts

Amado has resorted to immoral ways in hopes of bringing his daughter back to life. However, the act that could make him one of the best villains would be his talent for manipulation and changing sides without any suspicions. After using Kara as a 'piece on the chessboard,' he might also do the same with the Hidden Leaf Village once his aims are achieved (proving Shikamaru's allegations correct).
