Anime fights are one of the best and easiest ways for the medium to break the internet due to their visual impact and the stakes. Stellar animation while adapting a battle that has two characters fighting for the future of humanity is always compelling. This is why some combats in manga are bound to take over the online world when they come out in anime format.

Whether it is Garou finally having the chance to fight Saitama in One Punch Man or the clash between the two strongest in Jujutsu Kaisen, fans love anime fights. Additionally, anime fights like seeing Goku in his mastered Ultra Instinct glory in Dragon Ball Super are bound to break the internet when they are adapted.

These are some of the prominent, and while there are other candidates, these ten battles, in no particular order, have everything in their favor to be memorable.

10 Anime fights that are going to break the internet when they are adapted

1) Chrollo vs. Hisoka (Hunter X Hunter)

A lot of Hunter X Hunter fans were left disappointed when Chrollo lost his Nen during the Yorknew arc and couldn't fight Hisoka. That being said, author Yoshihiro Togashi made up for them a few arcs at Heaven's Arena. There, the leader of the Phantom Troupe decided that enough was enough with his former member and they chose to have a combat to the death.

Hisoka always wanted to fight Chrollo and the latter delivered, using a degree of strategies that push the limits of the Nen battle system while being entertaining. Both use everything they have while displaying the kind of charisma that has made them so popular in the Hunter X Hunter and the conclusion is phenomenal.

The only problem is that there is no indication of the Hunter X Hunter anime returning anything soon and even less so with Madhouse involved once again. Be that as it may, this is bound to be one of the most anticipated anime fights by a large margin.

2) Saitama vs. Garou (One Punch Man)

There is no denying that Saitama vs. Garou is one of the most awaited anime fights in recent years and it is going to break the internet. This battle went viral when it happened in the manga because it was the first time the protagonist got to show a degree of his massive strength while culminating in Garou's character arc.

Moreover, it is the path that everyone sees coming, with these two characters finally having the chance to fight at somewhat even ground. The battle is already over the top in the manga, with Cosmic Garou pushing the power scale to unseen levels, and the resolution is both fun and weird.

3) Goku vs. Moro (Dragon Ball Super)

When it comes to anime fights that are going to break the internet, Goku vs. Moro has all the makings for that. The most obvious reason is that Dragon Ball is the most popular anime franchise of all time and continues to be a commercial and media juggernaut.

The entirety of the Moro arc is centered around Goku trying to master Ultra Instinct and allows the audience to have some insight into his character. It helps them understand why he spares his moments. All of this makes the moment he masters this transformation all the more cathartic and memorable. This is bound to be a huge selling point for Toei Animation to adapt this arc after Dragon Ball Daima.

4) Satoru Gojo vs. Sukuna (Jujutsu Kaisen)

Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the most popular franchises at the moment and the Gojo vs. Sukuna battle will be one of the anime fights that is bound to become a classic after its release. The battle in the manga was already extremely popular, with each chapter being the talk of the town when they were released, so the impact of the anime is going to be even bigger.

These are two of the most popular characters in the modern anime landscape and their respective fanbases are still debating this battle, which goes to show the degree of impact that it had. Studio MAPPA has pushed the envelope when it comes to anime fights in Jujutsu Kaisen. Thus, this combat, set to appear in the fourth season of this production, is going to be very special in that regard.

5) Tanjiro Kamado and Giyuu Tomioka vs. Akaza (Demon Slayer)

The battle between Hashira vs. Kokushibo deserved a place as one of the anime fights that will break the internet. However, the battle that Tanjiro Kamado and Giyuu Tomioka have with Akaza, the third Upper Moon, has a more personal feel. The demon's combat with Rengoku has become one of the most iconic in modern anime and fans waiting for the protagonist to avenge the Flame Hashira.

Demon Slayer has built a reputation as one of the most dynamic anime when it comes to animation and battle choreography thanks to Ufotable. It is the first time in the series that Tomioka gets to go all out and anime-only fans are also going to be introduced to Akaza's backstory, which is one of the highlights of the entire franchise.

6) Ichigo Kurosaki vs. Yhwach (Bleach)

One of those definitive anime fights in the coming years (Image via Shueisha).

Bleach has made a massive comeback in recent years thanks to the excellent anime adaptation of the Thousand-Year Blood War arc. Additionally, the latest third cour has only made the franchise go from strength to strength. Thus, when considering the addition of new material that has improved the flow and development of the arc, Ichigo Kurosaki's final clash with Yhwach is quite anticipated.

The original fight in the manga has Ichigo receiving support from Orihime Inoue but the protagonist does most of the heavy lifting by showing his mastery of his Hollow and Quincy powers. Fans are expecting to see more of Ichigo's Horn of Salvation form and greater displays of his strength, such as the Gran Rey Cero.

There are also expectations of how Studio Pierrot, aided by author Tite Kubo, is going to handle the protagonist's true Bankai. Readers of the manga never got to see the full extent of this transformation since Yhwach destroyed it before Ichigo could use it. So this could be the biggest difference between the two versions.

7) Makima vs. Denji (Chainsaw Man)

One of the most poignant anime fights to be released in coming years (Image via Shueisha).

The first season of the Chainsaw Man anime made by Studio MAPPA had divided opinions. However, the trailer of the Reze movie highlights a change in direction and animation that seems more fitting for author Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga. This bodes well for what is not only one of the most anticipated anime fights but also one of the most heart-wrenching moments in the series, Makima vs. Denji.

The protagonist has been in love with Makima for a long time in the first part and is revealed that she only used him because she wanted Pochita, the Chainsaw Devil. It was revealed that she is obsessed with the legend of the Hero of Hell, Chainsaw Man, and was using Denji and his friends to break him, leading to several awful moments.

It is one of the most expected anime fights because Denji finally decides to take control of his own life and makes a stand against Makima. This highlights the experience and battle knowledge he has gained throughout the series. The conclusion is both poignant and disturbing, which is the perfect way to describe Fujimoto's writing.

8) Deku and the heroes vs. All For One (My Hero Academia)

It has already been confirmed that My Hero Academia's final anime season is aiming for an autumn release this year and there are some moments that people are expecting. If there are anime fights that are going to break the internet, one of those is certainly Deku and the remaining heroes against All For One.

The evil overlord will eventually lose in his physical form against Katsuki Bakugo but will return by taking over Tomura Shigaraki's body permanently. It is at this moment that Deku would have lost his One For All Quirk and would only have the dying embers of this power to fight against the villain. Meanwhile, Shota Aizawa utilizes Kurogiri's ability to teleport all the remaining heroes to aid him.

Fans of the series are bound to celebrate this moment, especially considering that is the last time they are likely to see Deku using One For All in combat. Studio Bones is very likely to fire on all cylinders for what is one of the anime fights that have the most emotional value since this marks the ending of My Hero Academia.

9) The Straw Hats vs. The Gorosei (One Piece)

One of the most underrated anime fights that will break the internet (Image via Shueisha).

One Piece is not a manga series that is known for having the most dynamic battles in the medium. However, Toei Animation has done a great job in recent years when it comes to animation and fight choreographies.

The quality of the Wano arc was certainly elevated by the work of the anime adaptation, albeit suffering a bit with the pacing. That being said, the Straw Hats' confrontation with the Elders of the Gorosei in the Egghead arc is certainly going to break the internet.

Readers of the manga already have expectations of seeing the leaders of the World Government engaging in battle with Luffy and his fans. However, those who are anime-only viewers are going to get an even bigger surprise. These five men have been present for so long in the story that watching them step up in combat certainly creates a lot of hype.

The performance of each member in the Egghead arc certainly varies, but Toei Animation has proven to be a reliable studio in recent years. Therefore, due to the franchise's popularity and the importance of the moment, this is one of those anime fights that is going to be the talk of the town when it gets adapted.

10) Okarun vs. Evil Eye (Dandadan)

Dandadan was already one of the most popular new manga in recent years and the 2024 debut season of the anime took the franchise to a whole new level. Characters like Okarun and Momo Ayase have become some of the most popular in the modern industry and the cliffhanger of the Science SARU adaptation has paved the stage for the battle with the Evil Eye.

As most readers of the manga know by now, the current arc that is being adapted in the anime shows how Jiji's house is being haunted by a yokai. Additionally, this is the Evil Eye, the tormented spirit of a child who was a prisoner in that location. His time as a prisoner deranged the child's mind and made him grow up wanting revenge on humanity, which is why he manipulates Jiji to take over his body.

The result is the Evil Eye gains a vessel to destroy humanity, but Okarun is the last man standing and they battle it out. It was already a very compelling moment in the manga since Okarun gets a chance to be the hero and save everyone, but Science SARU is bound to deliver stellar animation.

Final thoughts

Other anime fights are bound to break the internet when they are animated but these ten battles have everything in their favor to make the most impact. That is because of the size and reach of their respective franchises but also due to the context of the battles and the high-level animation they are bound to have.
