On Monday, September 16, 2024, Aniplex Online Fest 2024 held its festival filled with exciting new announcements, trailers, visuals, etc. for the upcoming slate of anime. While most fans must have tuned in to the Aniplex Online Fest 2024 to watch the latest anime announcements, that wasn't all that took place at the event. The announcements were momentarily interrupted by musical performances to hype up the fans.

These performances include those performed by DJ Kazu, natori, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba band score, live from New York, Kessoku Band, and LiSA.

Solo Leveling

Aniplex Online Fest 2024 started with Solo Leveling. Solo Leveling season 2 - Arise from the Shadow- is slated to premiere in January 2025. The anime unveiled a new key visual for the same. In addition, to commemorate the anime's upcoming premiere, the series announced a movie, Solo Leveling: ReAwakening.

The anime movie will feature a recap of the anime's first season, followed by the first two episodes of the anime's second season. The movie will premiere on November 28 in South Korea and November 29 in Japan.

Fureru

Fureru is an original animated film set to be released on October 4, 2024, in Japan. The story surrounds a mysterious creature called Fureru whose ability helps one read other people's minds. The other three characters are Aki Onoda, Ryo Sobue, and Yuta Inohara. They will be voiced by Ren Nagase, Ryota Bando, and Kentaro Maeda.

With Senpai is an Otokonoko having entered its climax, the anime released a music video featuring the scenes from the anime and its opening theme song "Be a Good Egoist" by Whale Don't Sleep. Wind Breaker

Wind Breaker anime announced two new songs as part of its S-MASH UP character song project at Aniplex Online Fest 2024. The first song is called "Navigator." It is performed by Akihiko Nirei (CV Shoya Chiba).

Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie -Walpurgisnacht Rising-

Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie -Walpurgisnacht Rising- movie unveiled a teaser trailer revealing its Winter 2025 release date.

The three movies that were previously released and linked up with - Walpurgisnacht Rising-, titled "'Beginnings," "Eternal," and "Rebellion," will be getting an Ultra HD Blu-ray release on January 29, 2025. The third movie will be re-released in theaters between October 25–31, 2024.

The anime also unveiled a game called "Puella Magi Madoka Magica Magia Exedra" at Aniplex Online Fest 2024.

Blue Exorcist

Blue Exorcist announced the premiere of -Beyond the Snow Saga- and -The Blue Night Saga- for October 2024 and January 2025 as a two cour anime. With that, the anime unveiled the trailer for the -Beyond the Snow Saga-. This trailer featured the opening theme song "Re-Rescue" by Reol.

The anime will be available to stream early between September 28–29, on U-Next, Hulu, and d Anime Store. The anime will premiere on October 5, 2024.

The anime is also releasing a game called "AlternaVvelt -Blue Exorcist Another Story-." Its story branches out from the Kyoto Saga.

DEMON LORD 2099

DEMON LORD 2099 is set to premiere on October 12, 2024. The voice actors Satoshi Hino, Miku Ito, and Hina Hishikawa appeared on the Aniplex Online Fest 2024 stage and streamed the anime's new promotional video. The PV also previewed the opening theme song called "Hollow" by Shiyui. The anime will be available to stream overseas on Crunchyroll.

UniteUp! -Uni:Birth-

UniteUp! -Uni:Birth- will premiere in January 2025. This was announced with a new promotional video. This video also previewed the opening theme song for the anime. It is called "Unibirth" and has been performed by the UniteUp idol group.

Fans who have yet to watch the first season can do so on streaming services. Otherwise, they can watch it on television when TOKYO MX and three other networks re-broadcast it starting October 5.

Rie Takahashi and Kentaro Kumaga, who will be playing Alina Clovera and Jade Scrade, announced that "Girumasu" anime will premiere in January 2025. In addition, they announced new cast members for the anime. Aoi Koga will voice Lululee Ashford, Rikuya Yasuda will voice Lowe Losblender, and Yu Serizawa will voice Laila.

Lastly, the anime also announced the release of the character promotional videos every week starting from Saturday, September 21.

I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class

Hinaki Yano and Shogo Sakata, the voice actors of Sakuramori Akane and Saito Hojo, together unveiled the new cast members for the anime. Sayumi Suzushiro will voice Himari Ishukura, and the voice of Shisei Hojo will be Nene Hieda.

Aniplex Online Fest 2024 ended with Rurouni Kenshin. Rurouni Kenshin -Kyoto Disturbance- unveiled the anime's third promotional video. The video unveiled some new cast members, including Haruka Tomatsu as Yumi Komagata, Wataru Hatano as Anji Yukyuzan, and Nobuhiko Okamoto as Cho Sawagejo.
