Arifureta season 3 episode 5 was released on November 11, 2024. The episode continued after the Haulia tribe saved their brethren from the Hoelscher Empire. As they all had boarded Hajime's ship, they traveled to a nearby forest where a beastmen tribe, Verbengen, resided. After landing, they returned the prisoners to their families and resided there to rest.
While they were staying, the beastmen tribe wanted to establish a peaceful treaty with the Haulia tribe to save their kin and for this purpose, they wanted to make the latter tribe's leader one of their elders. However, the Haulia tribe leader rejected their invitation and only wanted to stay in good relations. The reason was that the Haulia tribe was loyal to Hajime and was willing to wage war against anyone.

Arifureta season 3 episode 5: Hajime reunites the Haulia and Verbengen tribes as everyone enjoys peace for the time being
Arifureta season 3 episode 5, titled The Hero Returns, commenced with Hajime, accompanied by his girls and the prisoners whom the Haulia tribe saved from the Hoelscher Empire's prisons, on their ship as they were on their way to a nearby forest where a beastmen tribe resides called Verbengen. Shea's father wanted to extend a friendly hand to them as their relationship was in shambles.
As night fell, Hajime's ship arrived on the top of the forest, and the Verbengen tribe emerged from the bushes. The prisoners then rushed toward their families as Hajime and his company enjoyed a heartwarming moment. Arifureta season 3 episode 5 saw the tribe leader also reunited with his daughter as he thanked Hajime and his friends for aiding them in such crucial times.
After entering the tribe's home village, Hajime and his company were given an audience with the village leader. The Verbengen's leader wanted to award the Haulia tribe, as they were the reason behind the rescue of the Beatsmen. So, they wanted to make Shea's father one of their Elders. After getting the approval from other Elders, the Verbengen tribe extended a friendly hand to the Haulia tribe.
Unfortunately, Shea's father rejected the position of an Elder on the spot. He only wanted to have a timely friendly relationship with the Verbengen tribe because Shea's father didn't want to give them a sign that any sort of betrayal would be acceptable. More specifically, he wanted to know if the Verbengen tribe betrayed Hajime and then the Haulia tribe would assist their master.
After the audience was dismissed, Hajime and his company returned to a separate room to relax. Shea, however, left to meet some of her tribe members. As Hajime was relaxing, Shea's father interrupted him and wanted Hajime to see Shea. As Hajime left the room, Arifureta season 3 episode 5 saw Shea standing before a giant tree.
Hajime accompanied her and she revealed that her mother was buried under this tree. Arifureta season 3 episode 5 then saw Shea talk to her mother and tell her about everything that had happened. Hajime also joined in and this made Shea cry. These two then climbed a tree and Hajime lay down on Shea's lap.
Arifureta season 3 episode 5: The teaser to the start of Hajime and the company's next endeavor
Arifureta season 3 episode 5 had nothing that could be reviewed considering how the majority of it saw Hajime and his party relax. However, the final moments of Arifureta season 3 episode 5 saw Hajime and his company enter the dungeon that was inside the forest.
Surprisingly, the heroes' party would be accompanying Hajime this time. While the first part of the episode went without any serious implications, the next part might feature monsters and this would be the deciding point of the anime's overall success (whether there will be good CGI or bad).
