Arifureta season 3 episode 6: Hajime and company enter the Haltina dungeon as the dungeon tests their bond
Arifureta season 3 episode 6, titled Haltina Dungeon, commenced with Princess Liliana getting thrown back to the castle as Hajime and the Hero's Party were about to enter the dungeon. Although Liliana was complaining about Hajime handling her like a thing, she was still adamant that she loved the things he did for her.
Back to Hajime's side, the protagonist placed all four stones on the dungeon's door as another door opened before them. This door wanted healing magic so Yue went ahead and gave it what it wanted. Everyone then entered the door and a big spark engulfed everyone, after which Arifureta season 3 episode 6 saw Hajime and the others inside the Haltina Labyrinth.
As everyone was present in the same place, the Hero wanted to continue marching and look around the dungeon. While everyone was walking towards the Hero, Hajime picked up Yue, Tio, and the male from the Hero's Party. Everyone started panicking after Hajime's action, but the protagonists branded them as imposters and wanted to know their truth.
As they didn't reply, Hajime shot all three of them in the head and they were reduced to mud. Arifureta season 3 episode 6 then saw everyone continue, looking for their comrades. A goblin appeared before the group and, as expected, the Hero charged at it without thinking. However, Hajime stopped him and claimed that the goblin was Yue.
Later, the group also found Tio and the male from Hero's party (who were also transformed into goblins). Tio speculated that the Labyrinth was testing their bond, about whether their bond was only based on appearances. Eventually, they reached a portal and with no choice at hand, Hajime and his group entered it.
The next scene, Arifureta season 3 episode 6 saw Hajime back in his previous life (on Earth) where Yue (his classmate and girlfriend) was waking him up. As these two reached school, Hajime was greeted by Shea and Kaori, who were school girls. Tio was Hajime's homeroom teacher and the protagonist was enjoying a peaceful life (which he slowly started questioning).
On their way back home, Hajime picked up Myuu (who was Hajime's neighbor). The protagonist then returned home and started questioning everything that was happening around him. When Yue tried comforting him, Hajime remembered his struggles (from season 1) and Arifureta season 3 episode 6 saw him wake up to reality. When Hajime woke up, he saw everyone trapped inside coffins.
Arifureta season 3 episode 6: Hajime's character done justice and studio asread went overboard with the episode
Arifureta season 3 episode 6 was, arguably, the best episode of the third sequel and one of the best episodes of the franchise. The biggest reason for this was how Hajime's character was handled in the delusion where he was having a happy life with Yue and the other girls.
As the fandom has witnessed Hajime climb from the weakest (where he could hardly be called a sideline) to becoming the strongest (even capable of slaying celestial beings), the fans were expecting the protagonist to wake up from the illusion before drawing completely in it. As expected, he woke up and the next episode might see him saving his comrades.
Moreover, Arifureta season 3 episode 6 reintroduced the CGI with the animation of a hoard of bees. Although calling it flawless might be too much, it was satisfactory and could be considered a big standard for the upcoming episodes to follow.
