During this trip, Lord Couran's eldest son Renge Salamakhia sneaks into the ship to join them on their mission. With no other option, Ars and company have him join them on the trip.

Upon reaching the capital, Licia prepares for the negotiations and lowballs Doriz Shakuma into thinking they only have 1000 gold coins to offer. Just as the negotiation was nearly done, Renge revealed that they had 2000 coins. Fortunately, Licia was able to save the negotiations by offering up her jewelry.
