Hibaru is relieved to see Terasu and Kuran alive and normal, after escaping from the abandoned house. Gen, the policeman, asks him whether it was difficult for his team to confront the burglars. Hibaru says their Astros were strong.

Interestingly, Kinpa observes that their Astros don't work on her. Following that, they try to surmise the entire situation. According to Gen, the victims of the Ghost Thieves were first attacked by a giant monster, and later when they came to consciousness, they found themselves encased in a hard wax shell.

Moreover, at every crime scene, the police found a single rose with a strong smell. Kuran thinks he has finally figured out the trick. On the other hand, Terasu notices that his Bolo Tie is missing. The chapter then switches to the abandoned house, where the identities of the Ghost Thieves are revealed.

Hajime Ikari, one of the Ghost Thieves, inspects the Bolo Tie, wondering if it has any value. His partner, Karin Ikari, tells him to not let his guard down because there's a girl with them (Hibaru faction). At that moment, Hibaru and Kinpa arrive.

Kinpa figures out that their Astros don't work on girls, and that the monsters cannot appear if they don't sniff the roses. Interestingly, Kuran uses his Astro to turn into a giant fan, which Gen and Terasu use to get rid of the rose fragrance.

Meanwhile, Hibaru demonstrates his Astro to fight against the wax user. However, he finds it difficult against him, since Hajime's Astro allows him to control wax at will. He can melt or solidify all the wax he pleases.

On the other hand, Karin reveals that their Astro, Eau de Phantasm, isn't the scent of roses, but the scent of a perfume. Hibaru, Terasu, and others are affected by the hallucination once again. However, Kinpa uses her Astro to turn invisible and steal the burglars' Links (the tools for activating Astros).

She also retrieves Terasu's Link. Infuriated by the developments, Hajime brings out Gen's gun and tries to shoot Terasu, who easily blocks the gunshot using his Astro, Yata no Kagami.

Hibaru uses the opportunity to punch the burglars and subjugate them. The chapter ends with Gen thanking Hibaru and others for helping him solve the case. The boy assures Gen that he can contact the Hibaru faction anytime he sees people abusing their Astros.

Given how the latest chapter ended, Astro Royale chapter 10 will likely show the Hibaru faction taking more quests to build their name. Hibaru may look to get more of his siblings into his team.

Besides that, Astro Royale chapter 10 could also shift the focus to other Yotsurugi siblings, especially Shion, who hasn't made an appearance for a while now.
