The episode revealed that Atri forgot a portion of her memories since she was programmed to. Upon visiting her charging capsule, she remembered her final order, and it was to visit Eden. The instructions to find Eden were quite vague, but Natsuki realized that his grandmother did this to ensure that Eden’s location was safely guarded.
He and Atri used the submarine to dive underwater and locate Eden. they encountered a man-made current that was extremely forceful. It knocked Natsuki out, and when he regained his consciousness, he was already in Eden. Upon examining the place, he realized that it was a self-sustaining structure. Atri and Natsuki went deeper into the facility where they located another capsule.
The scientist’s final command to Atri was to step into the capsule. Eden’s system would take her in, and she would have to continue running the place. Natsuki asked Atri not to do so, but his grandmother’s hologram revealed that Atri’s memories would be wiped out in three days if she failed to return to the capsule that was designed for her.
