My Hero Academia has introduced many different quirks throughout its 430-chapter serialization, some of which seem underwhelming, while others have significant limitations. Although most of the "overpowered" quirks in the series come with some form of limitation, combining them with other quirks can push their power ceiling to an entirely different level.

By examining these quirks and the changes brought forth by their combination with others, it is possible to rank them based on the utility or power increase that the combination provides. Notably, All For One and One For All are not considered, as they primarily function as combinations of quirks.

8) Rifle and Homing

Rifle and Homing are quirks belonging to the first and second-best marksmen, Lady Nagant and Snipe, respectively. Snipe's Homing quirk was introduced in the finale of the U.S.J. arc as a quirk powerful enough to manipulate bullet trajectories and accurately hit its target.

However, its drawbacks were soon revealed as Snipe could not select which part of his target would be hit by the homing bullet, and his bullets did not have much power behind them. Lady Nagant's quirk, on the other hand, is a rifle extending from her elbow with much higher firepower, aided by her exceptional skill that dwarfs Snipe's.

If combined, Rifle and Homing would allow the user to shoot powerful sniper rounds that chase their target, overcoming the weakness of Homing’s low firepower and making Lady Nagant's bullets practically undodgeable.

7) Ice Ply and Half-Cold Half-Hot

Ice Ply and Half-Cold Half-Hot are quirks belonging to the Meta Liberation Army's Geten and Todoroki, respectively. Todoroki's quirk allows him to generate fire and ice from both sides of his body, while Geten's quirk allows him to manipulate ice and its properties.

Although both quirks sound similar, Ice Ply cannot generate ice, and Todoroki’s quirk limits his ice constructs to a primitive state due to its nature of generating ice without granting sophisticated control. If combined, these quirks would complement each other perfectly, enabling the user to create sophisticated ice constructs with an endless supply of ice.

6) Foldabody and Landmine

Foldabody and Landmine belong to the number four pro hero, Edgeshot, and the Liberation Army member, Curious. Edgeshot's quirk allows him to manipulate the thinness of his body, mainly using it to stretch himself into a fine thread to infiltrate opponents' bodies and incapacitate or eliminate them.

Landmine allows the user to give explosive qualities to objects after touching them. Although these explosions are not powerful individually, multiple explosions can be set off simultaneously.

Combining these quirks would enable the user to infiltrate enemies and designate internal organs as explosives. This can be done efficiently due to Foldabody's nature, overcoming its lack of firepower and Landmine's limited damage since the explosives would be inside the opponents' bodies.

5) Confession and Brainwashing

Confession and Brainwashing belong to one of Overhaul's underlings and Hitoshi Shinso, respectively. Confession forces a target to respond to a question with complete truthfulness, lacking much practical application. Brainwashing allows the user to control the actions of a target after they respond to any verbal question.

Brainwashing can affect multiple targets, but its significant weakness lies in its activation, requiring a response to verbal stimuli. If these quirks were combined, they would create an infallible brainwashing method, making Brainwashing one of the most versatile and powerful quirks for both combat and utility.

4) Warp Gate and Black Hole

Warp Gate and Black Hole are quirks belonging to Kurogiri and Anan Kurose, also known as Space Hero: Thirteen. Both were introduced in the U.S.J. arc. Warp Gate allows the user to create portals between places, mainly serving as a utility quirk without significant offensive capability. Black Hole enables the user to replicate the gravitational pull of a black hole through their fingertips, reducing anything sucked into it to dust.

Although these quirks clashed during the U.S.J. arc, Thirteen was defeated when Kurogiri redirected Black Hole's suction toward Thirteen via a portal. This principle could be used to bypass the range and collateral damage limitations of Black Hole, as the combination would allow the user to redirect Black Hole's suction discreetly and effectively.

3) Dupli-Arms and Erasure

Dupli-Arms and Erasure are quirks belonging to Shoji and Shota Aizawa, respectively. Shoji's Dupli-Arms quirk enables him to replicate enhanced versions of his limbs and organs through tentacle-like appendages. These appendages can multiply exponentially.

Aizawa's Erasure quirk, functioning through his eyes, allows him to disable the quirk factor of any individual he perceives, with its major drawbacks being his need to blink and the limited field of view inherent to human anatomy. Combining Dupli-Arms with Erasure would allow the user to have multiple sets of eyes, each with Erasure, essentially creating a quirk-disabler that never needs to blink.

2) Double and Foresight

Double and Foresight belong to Jin Bubaigawara, known as Twice, and Sir Nighteye, respectively. Double can theoretically create infinite copies of a person or object, while Foresight allows the user to see future events involving a target after making physical contact and eye contact. Foresight's activation and 24-hour usage limit are its significant drawbacks.

By combining it with Double, the user could bypass the 24-hour limit, as each double would be a separate entity. The activation criteria would also be overcome, as the numerous doubles could restrain and make eye contact with opponents. This effect would not be achievable using clones created by Ectoplasm, as they share a hivemind and would theoretically share the 24-hour time constraint.

1) Transform and New Order

Transform and New Order are quirks belonging to Himiko Toga and Cathleen Bate, also known as Star and Stripe. Transform allows the user to take on the appearance of another individual after ingesting their blood, with the transformation's duration dependent on the amount of blood ingested. It also allows the user to use the quirk of the person they have transformed into.

Transform is one of the most powerful quirks, with its primary drawback being the time limit dictated by the blood ingested. New Order, which bestows rules on objects, could remove this time limit and make some effects of the quirk permanent, as it can target quirks.

When combined, Transform would allow the user to access any possible quirk via their blood, while New Order removes any restrictions on the user and the quirk, essentially making both the quirk and the user completely malleable according to the user's demands.
