As anime fans would know by now, since its inception, Black Clover manga has faced allegations of being a Naruto copy. Thus, whenever a new manga chapter dropped, fans would compare the series to the Naruto franchise and point out minor similarities as proof of being a full-blown copy.

However, the manga creator Yuki Tabata has never credited the Masashi Kishimoto series as an inspiration. Even in the most recent Manga Barcelona event, Tabata credited Dragon Ball, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Bleach as sources of inspiration for his series.

Nevertheless, certain anime fans have made it their goal to label Black Clover a copy. Hence, one fan accused Tabata of having copied a Chained Soldier manga artwork for his cover art.

While Naruto fans accusing Yuki Tabata of copying Masashi Kishimoto's work has always been rampant, it seems like certain members of the fanbase have taken it upon themselves to accuse Black Clover of copying from all forms of anime.

With that in mind, one Naruto-Boruto fan on X, @NeoGenesi5, accused Yuki Tabata of having copied a Chained Soldier artwork for his Asta artwork.

As fans may remember, Black Clover manga was featured on the cover of Jump GIGA 2024 magazine issue. This cover featured an Asta artwork, which showed the protagonist drawing his Demon-Slasher Katana for a fight.

As per @NeoGenesi5, this artwork was copied from Chained Soldier Volume 1 cover art that saw the series's female protagonist, Kyouka Uzen, drawing her katana out from her scabbard.

With that, the Naruto-Boruto fan also labeled Chained Soldier as a h*ntai series when it is actually an action series with ecchi elements.

While some anime fans instantly followed the bandwagon and badmouthed Black Clover for copying Naruto and Chained Soldier, most fans retaliated against them.

For starters, the pose that saw Kyouka Uzen and Asta draw out their katanas has existed for decades. With that, other fans pointed out different media where the same pose could be seen. The most notable amongst them was Devil May Cry, which saw Virgil drawing out his katana.

"Shameless mangaka who spent his days copying Naruto and h*ntai mangas," one fan said.
"We are going to sit here bc this pose has existed for decades," another fan said.
"Ah yes because that sword pose has never been done before," sarcastically added.
"I only understood that you read h*ntai... Lmao," another fan added.
"So NOT associate us with HIM. He is literally hated by “That” fandom for a reason," other fans said.

Meanwhile, other fans were vexed about the Naruto fan having called Chained Soldier an h*ntai when it was an action series with ecchi elements. As for other fans, they caught on to this point and mocked the Naruto fan for revealing what he read in his free time.

The surprising thing is that not even Naruto-Boruto fans wanted to associate with him as the user was seemingly known for saying things that left their fandom embarrassed when amidst other fanbases.
