Loki's devil fruit might be the latest enigma introduced in One Piece given how the 'Sun God' fruit is in the hands of the protagonist. However, his fruit might be the true parallel of Luffy's Nika fruit, as the dark Nika fruit. Moreover, unlike Luffy's powers that tend to liberate the world, Loki's devil fruit might be to destroy the world, as described by the accursed prince himself.
As the plotline goes, fans expect the protagonist to end the tale of Loki. However, such a simple case might not be true because the dark Nika fruit might be destined for someone who could utilize it. As of this article's publication, only one pirate has been showcased who could steal others' powers and that would be Marshall D Teech. Loki's defeat would see Blackbeard completing his trifecta of devil fruits.

One Piece: Exploring Blackbeard as the one who might end Loki's life
In One Piece chapter 1130, the Straw Hat Pirates escaped Road and were about to enter the Elbaph Castle. However, they were interrupted by Luffy, who was feeling something sinister below the bridge. So, Luffy jumped from the bridge and entered the Dead Realm of Elbaph Island.
After exploring, Luffy met a gigantic being tied to metal chains. Upon asking, the giant introduced himself as Loki (the accursed prince of Elbaph). Loki also claimed that he was the Sun God and would destroy the world. At first glance, Loki's claims seemed flawed given the fans already witnessed the true Sun God, Luffy's Gear 5.
During One Piece's Wano arc, Luffy's devil fruit (Gum-Gum fruit) awakened and reached its true self, the Human-Human devil fruit (Model: Nika). This affirmed that Luffy was the true Sun God. So, could Loki be delusional about him being a Sun God? Surprisingly, Loki might be true in his claims and it might have to do with his devil fruit's nature.
Loki's devil fruit might be the dark 'Sun God' that might be parallel to Luffy's Nika fruit. Luffy's powers in his Nika form are to liberate others. On the other hand, Loki's devil fruit would make him capable of destroying the world. So, could Loki be the perfect opponent for Luffy? That might not be the case given Loki's significant devil fruit.
However, if Loki's devil fruit could be passed onto a main character, that would fit the hype of the final saga. As fans know, only one character fits this description and that is Marshall D Teech (Blackbeard). Blackbeard is one of the major antagonists of One Piece and the only person who can steal others' devil fruits (just like how he did with Whitebeard's Tremor-Tremor devil fruit).
Moreover, Blackbeard currently has a Logia (the Darkness-Darkness devil fruit) and Paramecia (the Tremor-Tremor devil fruit). So, receiving Loki's dark 'Sun God' fruit (modeled after an evil One Piece legend, like Nika) would complete Teech's trifecta. So, Teech might enter Elbaph Island in the future and steal his devil fruit after killing him.
Final thoughts
Blacbeard's journey through the series has seen him doing some experiments where he has mostly failed. For instance, he tried stealing the devil fruits of Law and Hancock but failed both times (due to the interference of Bepo and Rayleigh). So, Teech might not be aware of what his destiny holds and this would add to the credibility of this theory.
