Under the supervision of Tite Kubo, Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War anime has finally graced fans with Uryu's Vollstandig form. In the latest episode, The Betrayer, Uryu Ishida fought against Ichigo Kurosaki to prevent him from interfering with Yhwach's plans to eliminate the Soul King.
During their battle, Ichigo Kurosaki overwhelmed Uryu with his newfound powers. However, since he considered him his friend, Ichigo restrained himself and didn't go for the kill. At that moment, Uryu reminded the substitute Soul Reaper of his resolve as a Quincy and activated his Vollstandig form.
Although it's currently unnamed, Uryu's Vollstandig form endowed him with new strength, with which he pulverized Ichigo Kurosaki in the Royal Palace and earned respect from Yhwach's Schutzstaffels. Undoubtedly, it was one of the pivotal moments of Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War anime, since the form wasn't shown in the manga.

Exploring Uryu Ishida's Vollstandig form in Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War anime
In his manga, Tite Kubo never had the opportunity to showcase Uryu Ishida's Vollstandig form. It was also unknown whether the Quincy had acquired that power from Yhwach, aside from his Schrfit.
However, Kubo has had a fabulous time with the Thousand-Year Blood War arc's anime adaptation, adding various concepts he originally envisioned but couldn't add in the manga. One of them was the Quincy's Vollstandig form.
In the latest episode of Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War anime's third installment, titled The Betrayer, Uryu Ishida activated his Quincy Vollstandig against Ichigo Kurosaki. As soon as he activated it, Uryu gained two wings made of Reishi particles.
Likewise, his Vollstandig form endowed him with Reishi-based armor on his limbs and a chest crest resembling an arrow's fletching. Uncountable arrows encircled Uryu in his Vollstandig form, almost akin to Byakuya Kuchiki's Senbonzakura.
Interestingly enough, Uryu Ishida didn't get a Halo above his head, unlike the other Quincies. Moreover, the episode didn't reveal the name of his Vollstandig. Yet, his astute control over the infinite arrows made him a fearsome opponent for Ichigo Kurosaki, who could barely keep up with the rush of arrows fired at him.
In some ways, Uryu's new powers in his Vollstandig form amplified his Licht Reigen. Except, he could maneuver his arrows anywhere he wanted, with unlimited reservoir.
Moreover, the latest episode of Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War made it evident that the Vollstandig form enhanced Uryu's agility and strength to a great extent. Toward the end of the battle against Ichigo, Uryu showcased another move.
He absorbed the encircling arrows to one concentrated point to form a gigantic pentagonal attack, called Sternenstaub, which translates to Stardust in English. The move rivaled Ichigo Kurosaki's Getsuga Jujisho. Eventually, he defeated Ichigo with a single arrow, which pierced through the latter's torso.
Conclusion
Uryu Ishida's Vollstandig form in Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War anime was a monumental event in the series, as it wasn't there in the manga. Undoubtedly, the latest season of the anime adaptation has been paying more attention to the Quincy, than the previous two installments did.
After getting the spotlight in the first episode, where he defeated Senjumaru Shutara with his Schrift, it was the second time Uryu Ishida stole the show with a new power. Notably, he had already teased his Vollstandig form against Senjumaru, though it wasn't complete. It's only fitting that he could demonstrate its full potential against Ichigo Kurosaki, his old friend.
