Bleach TYBW episode 27 highlights: Yhwach regains The Almighty, Uryu Ishida and others break free from Senjumaru's Bankai
Bleach TYBW episode 27 opens with a recap of the previous installment's finale. The episode begins with the Zero Squad members sacrificing their lives to break the Blood Oath Seal and let Senjumaru Shutara unlock her Bankai, Shatatsu Karagara Shigarami no Tsuji. She demonstrates her Bankai to entrap Yhwach's Schutzstaffel and Uryu Ishida within her fabrics.
After that, the recap portion depicts Ichibe Hyosube showcasing his Zanpakuto, Ichimonji to paint Yhwach all black and rob him of his powers. The Manako Osho follows it up with his Bankai, Shirafude Ichimonji to rename Yhwach to Kuroari, reducing his power to that of a black ant.
Following the recap scenes, Bleach TYBW episode 27 finally enters the narrative for cour 3, The Conflict. As Yhwach falls down from the Royal Palace, he is overwhelmed with tremendous vision. The Quincy King's actual powers are then awakened, as his eyes gain two more pupils.
Yhwach's newfound powers affect his Schutzstaffel, who break free from the fabrics of Senjumaru Shutara's Bankai. Meanwhile, Bleach TYBW episode 27 shows Yhwach using his powers to teleport to Ichibei's location, and pierce Manako Osho with his Reishi Blade.
Ichibe Hyosube can't believe how Yhwach is still alive. At that moment, the painted letters come off from the Quincy King. Elsewhere, Jugram Haschwalth recounts the legend: The confined Quincy King regains his pulse after 900 years, his mind after 90 years, and his strength after nine years.
Bleach TYBW episode 27 reveals that Yhwach couldn't open his eyes before those nine years, as his powers could have gone out of control. However, he finally gains his actual powers, using which he can see and know everything in the world. The name of Yhwach's schrift is A: The Almighty.
Bleach TYBW episode 27: Uryu outwits Senjumaru, Yhwach decimates Ichibei
The narrative for Bleach TYBW episode 27 switches the focus to Uryu, who gains newfound powers to break free from Senjumaru's confinements. After that, he engages in a battle against the Greave Weave Guard. The Quincy evades Senjumaru's fabrics while shooting a barrage of Licht Reigen in her direction.
The Zero Squad member then uses her fabrics to create a lava floor, but Uryu manages to dodge in time. Senjumaru follows it up by summoning a horde of hollows to pit them against Uryu. However, Quincy's Licht Reigen defeats the hollows, leaving him exhausted.
Bleach TYBW episode 27 then shows Senjumaur Shutara trapping the exhausted Uryu with her fabrics. She then pierces a needle on Quincy's neck. Interestingly, a spark of light brightens up the scene.
After that, Bleach TYBW episode 27 switches to Ichibe Hyosube, who mocks Yhwach for thinking he would win, especially having so much "Black" on him. The Manako Osho then performs a hymn-like rite to erect a gigantic black mausoleum, which he calls Futen Taisatsuryo.
According to Bleach TYBW episode 27, Ichibe's Futen Taisatsuryo is built from 100 nights stolen from the Soul Society from 100 years in the future. However, to Ichibe's astonishment, the attack does no harm to Yhwach, thanks to his Almighty. The Quincy King exclaims that he will rob Ichibe of everything.
The episode then shows Yhwach decimating Ichibe Hyosube to pieces with a strong thrust. The Manako Osho's corpse falls on the ground, as the Quincy King emerges victorious. Elsewhere, Uryu Ishida activates his Vollstandig, to escape Senjumaru's fabrics again.
What follows after that shocks Senjumaru to the core. Rather than Uryu caught in her Bankai, she finds herself trapped within her fabrics. Bleach TYBW episode 27 then shows Uryu Ishida raising his Quincy Bow to shoot an arrow through Senjumaru Shutara's chest to kill her.
The Schutzstaffel, Jugram, and Uryu Ishida reunite with their King, Yhwach, who announces that the Zero Squad has fallen. Jugram is glad that their prayers have been answered. Following that, the Quincy King marches ahead to the Soul King's palace to end his father's life.
Bleach TYBW episode 27: Ichigo Kurosaki arrives at the Royal Palace

As soon as Ichigo does as he's requested, Ichibe Hyosube miraculously revives. Seeing Ichigo and Ganju's shocked faces, Ichibe reveals that all powers are in names. As such, he borrowed a tiny power from Ichigo to revive himself. The Manako Osho then urges Ichigo Kurosaki to stop Yhwach, since he's the only one who can.
He adds that it will be a while before his powers return. As such, he urges Ichigo Kurosaki to stop Yhwach, if not kill him. Ichibe emphasizes how important the Soul King is to the world. If he's no more, all three realms (Seireitei, The World of the Living, and Hueco Mundo) will cease to exist.
Ichigo knows the gravity of the situation, as he marches ahead to save the Soul King. Elsewhere in the episode, Shunsui Kyoraku reaches Muken, where Aizen Sosuke is imprisoned.
