Bleach TYBW episode 34 is due to come out next Saturday and recent visuals on the official website of the series have teased Mayuri Kurotsuchi's battle with one of Yhwach's elite soldiers, Pernida Parnkgjas. This is coupled with some leaks of the visuals of the upcoming episode, such as images of Mayuri's new Bankai.

Moreover, there are a lot of expectations for this battle in Bleach TYBW episode 34 since it was one of the most popular in author Tite Kubo's original. It features the biggest challenge for Mayuri's character since he is going up against one of the arms of the Soul King but there are also major developments for him and his artificial daughter, Nemu.

The most recent updates on the series' website have confirmed that Bleach TYBW episode 34 is going to be centered around the battle between the Gotei 13 Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi and a member of Yhwach's Schutzstaffel, Pernida Parnkgjas. This was already assumed by a lot of fans since the title of this episode, Baby, Hold Your Hand, was already teased in the previous one and was the name of this battle in the manga.

Some of the visuals include Mayuri dropping his golden outfit for more traditional Shinigami clothes and the involvement of his artificial daughter, Nemu, who is going to have moments to shine as well. Furthermore, one of the most hyped moments of Bleach TYBW episode 34 is definitely going to be Mayuri's new Bankai, Konjiki Ashisogi Jizō: Matai Fukuin Shōtai, which was already leaked online.

Another element that a lot of fans want to see animated is how Pernidas' constant evolution is going to be depicted by Studio Pierrot. This character is a living arm and constantly grows and creates more fingers, so it begs the question of how this is going to be animated because of the constant movement, although is likely to be adapted through the use of CGI.

What to expect from this battle

Author Tite Kubo has stated that Mayuri is his favorite character and the dedication in this battle is good evidence of that statement. Bleach TYBW episode 34 is going to show Pernida taking down Zaraki Kenpachi with ease and Mayuri stepping in, slowly realizing that this enemy isn't a normal Sternritter, eventually revealing that he is facing the left arm of the Soul King.

Pernida governs progress and has become sentient with a growing hatred of the Shinigami and identifying himself as a Quincy, with this creature gaining speech and more intellect as he fights Mayuri. The Gotei 13 Captain also shows several tricks on his sleeve and how his fighting style relies on his intelligence and scientific knowledge rather than normal Shinigami abilities.

As mentioned earlier, this is the sole moment of the series where Nemu's character gets to shine as she willingly disobeys Mayuri to protect him. Bleach TYBW episode 34 is likely going to show Nemu's backstory and how she is viewed by Mayuri as his masterpiece.

Bleach TYBW episode 34, as mentioned earlier, is going to come out this Saturday and is bound to be one of the highlights of this third cour by covering this battle. It is also going to be interesting to see which inclusions Studio Pierrot and Tite Kubo add to this battle and the overarching narrative.
